We're in the same boat we were in with Jimmy. Can we really count on him to play an entire season at this point? I don't see how we can.

Lol I just posted something that would be considered FACTS same as you did. I can put up b******t numbers to backup whatever narrative I want to push like you're doing all the same.

the only thing you said that's right is it's your opinion.

Facts of a small sample size, sure but also facts that he ran it at 12.3 per game and had already 3 in the first quarter v Seattle so he was trending that way again. Who cares the sample size, you can only count what you can see, right?

welp there goes 3 first rounders.

This pretty much sums it up. It will be an all time what could have been moment, like Rodgers vs Smith, Carmazzi over Brady.

If we stood pat with no draft trade we would be sitting with the same team but add Micah Parsons and Cole Strange and a first rounder next year. Imagine Micah Parsons and Bosa.

Yeah I agree. It was a bad move.

Where's that pic of Spiderman pointing at himself. LOL

You could use that one for every position and player on offense now.

Too small of a sample size to truly know.

Odds are highly - HIGHLY - against him continuing to get injured every two games, and you know this.

Purdy might be the savior

LOL dude he was injured 2 times in 4 starts because the coach was so haphazard with his play calling. Yah a small sample size but an accurate reflection of his use, per the stats.

maybe he's more injury prone than you want to believe.

I said we'd probably end up using both knowing our injury trends here esp. after week 1 given how Trey was used.

But I didn't think this early.

I was hoping Jimmy would have another month or two to get his football strength back.

That's the risk you have to take. Would be the same risk with Purdy (injury prone? Just as likely/unlikely) or any QB that they bring in.

Coincidentally all our QBs are injury prone. Like that guy JG. He was very injury prone when he decided to challenge a bunch of defenders vs KC with the boundary right there. TL when he's getting 600 lbs of weight applied to his ankle is quite injury prone I have noticed.
Trey is tough dude. He didn't cry like Dak did.

TL plays like he believes he can still do this in the NFL when it's just getting him killed.

Dak had a compound fracture. That's crazy painful. This stuff is ridiculous IMO.

I was legit asking for that each week and all offseason. It's a passing league. This is what LET TREY SAUTE was all about. I was asking for a ton of pass attempts. Let him play let him spin it. Block it up and let it fly. If he gets hit so be it but we are protecting him each play with pass pro. If free yards are there take em and slide.

I am learning this wasn't why we selected him. We wanted him to do a lot of heavy running into front sevens. That was the plan and the reason we selected him. We basically dialed up the Tebow style offense and he's not half the runner Tebow was imo. A much better passer than Tebow but we don't really want him passing much. We spent three ones on this. What on earth..

Have you considered the possibility that he's not ready for any of that and Shanahan is trying to bring him along slowly? I know, its crazy to think that a guy who has like 400 passing attempts in his entire life might require some kid glove treatment to get him to a level where he can consistently be someone that drops back and fires it off 20-25 times a game, but its quite possible that he's just not there yet?

I would add that Kyle also wants to win games while bringing him along. He owes that to the rest of the team. It was never going to be just a year for lance development. There was a balancing act of trying to win while also trying to develope him.

It is a tiny sample size but that is one hell of a fluke if it is a fluke and not a pattern.

Every 4, 8 or 12 games would make him problematic.
