The problem now with Lance is that he would only have played 3 games in 3 years of football. I would think he would be anything but sharp when he comes back and will even take more time to get up to speed. Such injuries are confidence sapping. I got a feeling he will be traded next year

Its sad really.

Here's to back to back superbowls. One with Jimmy and one with Trey.

No true fan wants to "lose with 10." Those aren't fans.

But real fans, like myself, know that a healthy and developing Trey Lance could've made this team unstoppable by seasons end.

We know how the Jimmy G story ends, we've seen it before.

I also wouldn't be surprised if he gets hurt too.

Jimmy G Story the last 3 seasons has either ended a play away or a game away from another Superbowl.

I expect the same this year. 1st or 2nd round playoff bounce.

Jimmys never been bounced in the 1st or 2nd round.

You said you expect the same thing this year, 1st or 2nd round exit. You know damn well Jimmy has never been bounced in either of those rounds. If thendefense doesn't give up a 3rd amd 15 against mahommes we aren't having this conversation. So stop acting like he sucks. You may prefer Trey. But we are still competitive with Jimmy. Just ask vegas.

Ah I see the error. My Bad. I was meaning I see the same outcome before and after the injury. Trey or Jimmy I see the same outcome a second round loss at best.

Yeah it would absolutely be foolish to give up on him without giving him his entire contract to show what he can do. Just sucks that if he turns out to be elite, he won't get to that level in time for us to take advantage of that cheap rookie contract
