We've already lost 2 years with Lance . That means they will probably pick up that 5th year option so they can have 3 seasons for him to learn. I could easily be that 3rd year for him since he's played so little since 2019. I'm guessing they'll want to give him as much time as possible since they invested so much in him.
The more I think about it, I am finding hard to visualize a scenario where TL really succeeds. He will have not played any real meaningful snaps over 3 years of football once recovered and previous to that it is 17 games. Not only does he now have to overcome and server ankle injury ( he is a runner) but he doesnt have any real experience either. Not a exactly a scenario for success. If had played meaningful snaps in a Division 1 conference for 2-3 years, one could possible figure that into a more positive outcome. I am worried.
