You can't make this s**t up.

Can't make s**t up? You must not know who you're replying to.

I think msg is - as unfortunate as Purdy's injury was - it is somewhat of a lucky break for you so if you're not gonna take the full advantage of it - this may be it. So, be in the best shape you possibly can when off-season workouts begin and be fully ready to go.

Of course I believe Trey know all this but sometimes you need to hear it.

All I know is Lance played 3.5 games. He has all the tools and a limitless ceiling. That's why the 49ers gave so much to get him. He's going to get his opportunity whether here or elsewhere. It's only a matter of time because he's 22 and everyone that does have a QB is looking for a QB

Got to see what we got with Trey - because, we don't know if Brock will come back the same.

Purdy will be fine. It is more likely Lance wont be as mobile for a year or two and will be gun shy about moving around.

That could actually be a good thing for his development.

Purdy might have TJ surgery on his throwing elbow and be about a full year…but you know he will be just fine lol. There's a long list of QBs getting this procedure (sarcasm).

of course Lance (whom he doesn't like) is gonna be the one with issue coming back from a broken ankle lol. His mobility isn't gonna change from this at all.

You think the Texans opt to play him on special teams because of this?

Nope. Lance will be 100 and in six months Purdy should be 100. They won't be used like Lamar Jackson but they will still use their mobility

I expect both players to be fully available. Trey this March and Purdy to start training camp or at least the season

These are young guys. Not Tom Brady so they'll heal up fine. We are talking about a 22 and a 23 year old. Relatively young by NFL standards four or five years removed from high school. Much younger than me or you
Doesn't sound like the FO has much confidence in Trey tbh

It's crucial for him when he starts OTA's and mini camp that he looks improved and shows that he's the guy.
I just saw Trey's season ending interview were he talked about Purdy.

Trey is such a class act, just an outstanding teammate and team first guy.

Can't help but to want to see the guy do great.

In this day and age when there is just sooo much Drama from QBs, Trey's mentality is so refreshing.

Jimmy and Lance have had several injuries in a short time. Remains to be seen with Purdy.

After everything we've seen, I have no doubt that everyone will pile on Purdy in a couple of years saying hes injury prone. And we will chalk it up to bad luck

If purdy averages an injury every other start or every other year, than the injury prone label will be appropriate, whether it's bad luck or not.

All players are "injury prone" anyway. Contextually it means nada.

How do you figure this?

well said man...
They've seen what they can get from the last pick in the draft in his first season, that is the absolute minimum they should expect from the #3 pick overall. SMH

Define "this",...though. Without it,...your stance makes no sense, really.

Do all players in rounds 1 thru 6 now have expectations to play @ least as good as Purdy did this year?

This is the new "standard" for every QB drafted within the 1st 200 picks or so? Lol just wish there would be more thought put into these comments and the rationale behind them before they are made.

He needs reps and needs to improve. Doesn't need to try to be like anyone else, really.

Anyone see Fields well over 1k season?

disclaimer for the inevitable responses.. this is in no way saying TL is a bust, nor is it rooting against TL.. just looking at the film currently on tape for all players mentioned. TL may not have much film but his run speed / quickness I haven't seen many ppl acquire that you kinda have it or don't.
