Lol what?

He blew it outta proportion, because of something I said. Which was Trent Williams might not want to play with Trey Lance or whatever something like that. People get all worked up around here, including me I admit.

You thought Trent would turn down $20 million in 2023 because he didn't want to play with Trey? Is it because you think Trey sucks that bad, or because Trey is so toxic as a teammate that Trent would rather retire?

I just assumed that Trent Williams didn't feel like lining up for a Unproven-unknown QB in Trey Lance. After all rumors are gonna be rumors and that's all we can go by.

Not surprised. Dumb a** assumptions being made all over this thread.

Another thing about Trey, which is why he needs to stay healthy is the effect he's going to have on our rushing attack. With just the threat of him being dual threat he's going to bring attention away from CMC Mitchell Mason Juice and TDP so I expect them to go off in the ground game. This also helps the OL as defenders will have to keep guessing on every level of the defense and just as we saw our explosives take a noticeable uptick with Brock, I expect an even greater uptick under Trey and explosives with regularity

The guy just needs to stay healthy develop and learn and we can win while this happens as we really have no choice while Brock recovers this offseason

It's a good thing potentially having two young cheap guys that can lead the team. I'm liking having low cost options at QB and I definitely like the uptick in explosives since the addition of CMC and the upgrades from Jimmy G

Jimmy was good for us but obviously Kyle is seeing where we can get even better now

Whomever is leading the team seems like from his perspective. Which is the correct one imo.

i rooted and watched DTR his whole career.... dont think he has the IT factor but who knows.
Sounds like Trey is not going to work on his throwing motion this offseason. I am quite disappointed at this to be honest.

Not surprised. Most QB coaches don't believe in touching a quarterback's throwing motion at this point in their career. I think there are some small things Trey can improve in his upper body like where he holds the ball and the little ball flip thingy he does, but most of Trey's mechanical improvements will come from his lower half, specifically his feet.

Trey is gonna do what Shanahan tells him to do but he also needs to learn from his injury situations and just try to get lickier
going forward

All true. Not sure why they're trying to get rid of you, as you do no harm to the board here.

Unless adding a real, alternative opinion to the "accepted" norm as trolls troll is harmful.

His lower half is what I hope he works on the most. I believe he's working with the same guy who helped Hurts.

No. We don't need to go by rumors FWIW. We can patiently wait for updates and developments now that it is the off-season.

I think we do.
