he's had a couple very good games and it wasn't some elite play either the whole time (which is fine he's a rookie).

Acting like Lance has not shot to be the starter is silly though.

I like the way Brock played but I've said all along if he doesn't beat Hurts and Mahomes he's going to have to compete with Trey this offseason. Well he can't even begin to compete until late August and at that time TC is about to wrap up and he's still going to have to get into playing shape. This means Trey is likely to be starter at season's beginning

Yeah it's silly just to conclude it's Brock no matter what. I got high hopes for both guys and Lance is gonna have basically all of TC (according to some sources) to prove he can be the starter.

When being asked if it is Purdy's job to lose, Bosa said "It is hard to say otherwise."

Purdy did fantastic,..especially given the situation.

Can you say late August return conclusion of TC? It's hard to say otherwise

Six months from 2/22 is a late August return after which Brock will need to regain his playing shape

It's easy to conclude he doesn't play well by watching him play. Everything he does and doesn't do.

I never mentioned Jimmy, it is weird that you always bring him up out od nowhere in random theeads.

And ypu also brought up defending Stafforf.

Hey...sorry if you think I strayed from the topic. Apologies.

I edited the needless stuff out so we can stay on topic as you wanted.

I will simply wait and see your rationale for saying both of these things within a couple days:

You weren't replying to those posts and they have nothing to do with thenpost you replied to.

You mention my name a lot here, I don't think I have ever mentioned yours once.

I said that team success will be something Lance is judged on due to this year's success and recent success. Do you disagree, if so, why? You haven't offered an opinion on what I posted.

I also said that Stafford was lucky Tartt dropped that ball. Do you disagree with that, if so, why?

Let's discuss the points being made rather than trying to find agendas and taking personal shots.

Yep, that could definitely give Lance the inside shot at starting the season as the starter.

Well you responded to me earlier in this thread saying he sucks. You brought the topic about him specifically up. I was just mentioning that in hindsight that was probably the move to make.

Again deleting the personal stuff because u dont like or want to discuss that stuff here, remember?

You said Lance's success will be judged by how well the team does. Which makes no sense but if we accept that, then why are you not applying the same to the last SB winner?

Is it the same? Your judgement of him was that HE WAS LUCKY AND HE SUCKS. And I'm not digging something old up, as this was posted here by you in the same thread just a day or 2 ago. The hope is that you understand the confusion you may cause when you contradict your stance in this way.

You made a rule that you clearly don't believe in,....otherwise, you wouldn'tve said both things about different QBs within days of each other.

Soooo...which is it? Because it can't be both.

Remember a player told Maiocco that there will be a lot of pissed-off people in this locker room if Brock Purdy is not the starter next season. I suppose you can take that as a pure compliment to Brock as well.
If TL puts in the work he can do whatever he wants to do, the ability is there. Last year Hurts said year 3 starts tomorrow the day they lost to Tampa in playoffs. In other words, he was talking about putting in the work. Lance mentioned taking a few weeks off, around this same time period, and I noticed the contrast. You will see Hurts on Sunday in the Super Bowl.

As long as Lance doesn't ghost the team all offseason i'm good with a break.
