One of those games he also beats the Texans in a must win game in which he had 116.2 QBR. So if you are going to judge him on a small sample size you have to include that game.

It's not about football.

Or as well as Trey throws accurately

Or as well as Jimmy plays from his own end zone.
It's hard to have a conversation with some people who's whole argument is well "He is not accurate right now which means he never will be" How do you have a discussion when that is the whole thought process?

22 years old and has started 4 games. Making a career judgement off that is just rediculous.

Because being right is more important than the 9ers having success.

Yeah and how did that work out for you? He got beat by Justin Fields throwing to scrubs like Dante Pettis. Dropping early games cost us the #1 seed. Road game in Philly and you saw the results. If you win some early games you don't need to win so many in a row at the end to have a good season and good seed in the playoffs.

Niners lost to the Broncos solely because of Jimmy. If they win that game they get the #1 seed. And Fields did nothing in that game for nearly 3 quarters and then only got TD's because Niners committed dumb penalties after getting a stop on 3rd down. Fields only completed 8 passes in that game and 5 of them were dump off's. Fields also only had 28 yards rushing on 11 carries.

Jimmy G wins that game hands down and we get the #1 seed. Trying to play a guy who was not ready threw the season. At least for playoff seeding.

Zero chance in hell Jimmy wins that game. Trey was our best player and converted 13 3rd downs and 9 with his legs. Jimmy's statue ass would have been getting sacked all game.

Jimmy put up 9 points vs Washington a couple years back in similar very wet conditions. He played like ass vs the Colts at home when it was pouring down rain and we got smoked.

Also hard to have a conversation when the whole thought process is he's 22 years old.

When Brock Purdy was 22 years old he was beating The 🐐 in his 1st career start. He was on the road beating the 12's in his 2nd start.

See how dumb the he's only 22 years old argument is?

As I said before, Trey was drafted for his physical traits. His strong arm and running ability. Yet we want him to throw softer and run less. All the while, HOPING he can learn to play as good as the guy everyone wanted to replace.

When you put it that way...

Kyle saw up close Josh Allen and Pat Mahomes. Kyle wanted that this he drafted Trey. Purdy turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We saw it took three seasons for Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts. We have not even given Lance four games

Good thing Kyle is the coach because this offseason Trey will be given his chance no matter how many fans are gonna be upset about it

Trey doesn't have accuracy issues. Trey needs to get his footwork and timing down in the rhythm passing game. Footwork is everything when it comes to playing in this system. With what Griese did for Jimmy and Brock, I have no doubt that Trey will take a step forward when given his next opportunity.

You can't win with inaccuracy like that. But you can win with Brock Purdy. That's been proven.

Brock Purdy is a unicorn. His success after being thrown into the mix doesn't negate that some guys just need more time to figure out the most complicated position in pro sports. For f**k's sake you can root for more than one QB on the roster, you know? Or is this hard stance on Trey just an extension on your sour grapes that Mac f**king Jones was not our pick?
