But it feels like we gave up two #1 overall picks when we talk about the trade. Normally if a person looked at the results and draft picks given up we would look like the winners in that trade taking us from #12 overall all the way back to #29 in back to back years. Problem here is that he wasn't on the field for it.

I hate that trade and this is not an anti TL convo.. not even talking TL.. but the idea of going back 9 picks and giving up the next two years worth of firsts is just dumb.

Pick 12 had some real players there and we could have kept all the ones.

Micah Parsons paired with Bosa

Would break the NFL.. we may be at the parade right now

Wouldn't every team in the NFL like to re-do their draft picks, though?

I just don't understand the obsession with hindsight some have here.

It's only hindsight if you are just realizing it now.. if you realized it before the draft, that ain't hindsight.

It's purely comical, unproductive hindsight. "Can you imagine if we....." does zilch. Every team in the NFL can imagine IF,.....no one cares.

Simms is speaking along te same lines as me

Well the 3 of you share alot of similarities. No surprises there really.

Even in this scenario, he did draft Purdy if he drafted Griese as well. He gets 100% of the credit for whatever the people he brings here does. That's how it works.

We heard all about McDaniel last year and how he was the real "brains" behind the operation,...remember? Only with the good stuff, though.

But no,...you dont get to lay the blame for everything that goes wrong on a HC you dont favor, then shift the credit to his staff instead of him for things that go right. LoL.

Doing so is just pure nonsense.

And simms loved Haskins and Mond and hated Hurts.

And Reid didn't draft Mahomes, yet you love to lick his nuts over it.

Did you realize it before the draft? I don't remember seeing anyone here banging the table for him.

Yea, I have yet to see anyone outside of this board (or current/ex 9er) that think anything of Trey. Literally the only people that think Trey has it are the ones on here that keep telling us that.

I hear alot of positive things about Purdy. Everyone outside this forum was 50/50 on Jimmy.

Damn near NO ONE outside of our posters here really think Trey has it

Daniel Jeremiah loved Lance. What's there to say about Lance good or bad at this point? He hasn't played football. That's the talking point we have no clue what he is because of that.

Not a damn person in here was on the parsons bandwagon…let alone thought he was an edge rusher
after the 1st preseason game when Purdy was shredding I knew he was better than Trey-ning wheels and posted Purdy >>>> Lance

Oh right, you thought we were good with Jimmy.

In hindsight, we weren't lol.

Yea, you guys only want to count the regular season reps. Fail to count all the struggles he had throughout training camp that sounded eerily similar to what we see when he does play in the regular season.

And you must of have missed the dozen of posts from Faithful talking about how Lance was gonna have like 5,000 yards and 40TDs this offseason…only took a little over 4QRs of football for him to deem him crap lol. Some fans we got here.

I thought we needed to address the QB room after JG missed 2 of 3 seasons in large part. Though now it appears JG wasn't the problem.. all our QBs got injured this year, kind of a team wide issue right now.

A healthy Jimmy was still a problem, that's the problem.
