A kind of instinctiveness and creativity that really stands out. The sample size is far too small to make any determination. But as far as I'm considered, until he proves otherwise, I'm going to hope Brock continues to play at an elite level every time he steps into the field.

LunchTrey

Trey-som

Gonna take 5 years for Trey to ever be mentally we're Brock is

Trey throws one good ball every game

Every team is laughing at 9ers for taking Trey

Clearly that's just not being very excited. Totally the equivalent of posting a video showing where Brock can improve.

Nicknames for our QBs are stupid and nothing new. So is the hyperbole you've posted. Posters have stated our past QB can't throw past 5 yds. We both know that is BS.

I never said every team is laughing at the niners. I said other fan bases are. Which they are if you look at SM and Message boards. Doesn't mean they are right because Lance story hasn't been fully written yet, but as of now they are.

So you want Trey off this team, regardless of whether or not it benefits anyone?

Idk where you get this. I just think a team that is competing for the #1 seed won't be cool with developing a QB as green as Trey when there's a better option. One that they truly believe they win SB with if he didn't get injured. I don't think he'll get his chance here, that's not hate lol. We will have to pay one and it won't be the unknown

Well, they made Trey QB1 last year, he will be the only healthy quarterback on the team to start this year, so you're probably wrong. If Trey doesn't work out. We'll always have Brock to fall back on. Great position!

It will be too soon imo so I see it as irrelevant. I don't see him going from where he was, to being better than Purdy in an offseason. He's also missed time to rehab. In a couple years if he's still on the roster he might be ready to take advantage of a Purdy injury but not yet

Great, glad we're in agreement.

Never said that. In fact I think Trey has a chance to develop in a different situation. A championship team with a young QB that did what Brock did is not the best situation to develop in. It just won't work. I don't think he's ready to compete with Purdy yet. If Purdy continues to play at a high level, we have to roll with the guy we know is good and not the guy we hope becomes good. He will have to become another teams project

Purdy had to compete with rehab. Trey was drafted to develop here by Shanahan himself. Handpicked so it doesn't matter what you or what think

Link to you claims?

Insulting nicknames and ridiculous hyperbole for Jimmy? Hatred

Insulting nicknames and ridiculous hyperbole for Trey? Not being excited about Trey. Totally not wanting to see failure

Until Trey puts anything like this on film, I will keep my opinion.

We as a fan base have been so use to a QB that can't do s**t the moment pressure is happening that the moment we see a guy able to extend a play even a little…we're all like he's Mahomes or something lolz.

my hope for him and this literally like the absolute ceiling would be a lesser arm Burrow. That would be a total score imo.

Can we agree it's stupid no matter the QB?

Alotta people here still scared of Trey. Why? LoL

Considering Brock's first 8 games are on par with Burrow's play (arguably better than any eight game stretch of Burrow's last year), I'd think there's a chance he could be better. I certainly wouldn't want to put a cap in what Brock might become with such a small sample size. Burrows a rising star so it's hard to extrapolate what he himself might become.

You're essentially saying that Brock has already played his best football, which is comical.

It's obvious and should just be called out for what it is. All of the guys badmouthing Trey is the Jimmy G Stringers. They all still mad about being completely wrong about Jimmy and the fact that this organization agreed with those who thought he should be replaced. Trey was the replacement and the 49ers made the biggest trade ever to replace Jimmy.

Love how you've gone from 11 to now 8 games. you can say any player "could" be better than any player. Doesn't mean anything though.

I never said Brock played his best football…but yes brock could have also played his best football all the same. We won't have any clue until it happens. I'm all for him being the next Joe Burrow. I'm not gonna stand on a hill and say it will happen.

He literally said I'm comparing him to Mahomes lol
