It's subjective who is worthy and who isn't. My take is it's gonna be a real guy or to make that objective, someone with more starts in the NFL than BP and TL put together.
The room really lacks experience. 9 career starts with 2 guys. Could be wrong here but if I am JL I want a experienced, steady hand. Very real chance this guy starts games, as BP is rehabbing a loong time and TL has a very hard time staying on the field to date.

I understand that. Over the past 2 seasons CLE & MIA are the only ones who paid for a true backup that fits the 6-8 price range that had been discussed.
Jimmy G wasn't a free agent he restructured down to 7mil. If you remember we gave Sudfeld a fully guaranteed 2 mil contract that could be 3mil. They considered him "high end" at around the price point that the going rate for a true backup is.

All yesterday the discussion was about signing a middling backup or a good backup, or what you just referred to as a "true backup". You started posting salaries of s**tty backups to make some pointless point about how backups can be cheap. Of course backups can be cheap, because those are the s**tty backups. I understand your point about how Jimmy was a restructure.
