No, they were not. Are you f**king blind or just retarded?

Dude they showed more. An accumulation of the first games stats does not disprove anything lol

Well that answered my question. 🤣

Jimmy has far more stats that get overlooked or isn't credible because of who you guys portray him to be.

No need to portray anything. Jimmy got 8 years to prove his worth. Trey completed 3 games and you would "love to trade him".

Oh no, so with people saying he didn't do s**t during his Super Bowl in 2019 his 3900 yards passing with a 69% cmp% is credible then?? What was all that b******t about air yards??

Trey Lance was a project that wasn't worth the trade up for let alone three 1st round picks. I wasn't a fan from the start. The sooner they can move on from the injury prone project the sooner we can concentrate on one QB. Until then it's always gonna be a wait and see filled with a ton of exhausting excuses when things don't go right. You people already wanted Shanahan fired for running Trey up the middle. Josh Allen does the same s**t and isn't that who we drafted him to be?? No, then WTF did they draft him for???

And in Jimmy's time, here, we've had a Super Bowl appearance and an additional 2 consecutive NFC Championship appearances in the 5 seasons he's been a starter here. So I'd say Jimmy proved his worth plenty well.

So you want him to fail so you can be right. Got it.

He also proved he wasn't worth near what we paid him unfortunately.

I don't care about dicing up coverages and making reads lol. The production is there. That's all that matters. If Trey were a monster runner and could put up 30+ a game without throwing that's fine too. I want QB that produces and wins. Not Kirk Cousins and his beautiful field reading. When you look at Treys overall production compared to Hirts and Allen in the beginning they were both better. Watching the film makes that even more clear

Lol so you take away plays from Lance because it was "easy" then in the same breath you don't care about how production came for other players?

You're hypocritical as f**k about this…. It's clear as day…just admit it because you doing this back and forth made up crap is beyond stupid.

You should. That's what all the cool QBs that have long careers are doing.

That's what history tells us, but the game is changing and the top guys aren't just statues reading the D all game. It's definitely a trait you want, but if the guy that runs and can't read a defense is more productive then i don't care. The guy that runs around and can't read a defense is the better player in my mind.

So why not give Lance at least a full season to prove something? Ya'll can't even allow that to happen.

If we get rid of the injury prone QBs on the roster, we're left with only Sam Darnold.

Lmfao you guys are so far off here. Not caring about run or pass has nothing to do with grading how easy a play is

Thank you for sharing. It's difficult for me to disagree more.

No no no it's only matters for Lance. Hurts can throw wide open screens, 50/50 balls to AJ Brown and have easy RPO reads and that's being a great QB.

Lol… at least you admit your bias.

For the record I never cared about air yards. I did care about the ability to attack all parts of the field, which I feel Purdy and Lance both have the ability to do so.

I don't hate Jimmy like you hate Lance. I felt that this team needed an upgrade over Jimmy to win it all. Because Kyle isn't perfect, the offensive line will never be perfect, and I liked the idea of having a cheap QB room which we're benefiting from currently (Javon Hargrave). Purdy showed last season what this offense it truly capable of and Lance has just as much raw ability but hasn't proved anything yet.

It's odd to me that some want Trey to fail so much since he's only 22 and his success could lead to a long term franchise QB or some trade compensation.

That's a key point. Even if Brock wins the starting gig Trey showing ability makes his trade value higher. We should be rooting for success for both.
