I could see him QB1 week 1, QB2, or QB3.
and if he's QB3 I could see him off roster
basically the ultimate question mark

Lol true.

So as long as Kyle's here we will never have an elite level QB. Well that really blows…still don't believe that and then making a move for Lance kinda disproves all of it.

also they could have had Josh Allen as well (massive 49er fan growing up)

https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/49ers/adam-schefter-tells-wild-story-how-49ers-could-have-drafted-josh-allen

Then benching him for Purdy, does that prove anything?

Having so much conviction to make the biggest move in franchise history…how does that not prove anything?

he never got benched. He got hurt. Brock played well, got hurt and now lance is back up…

Can you win a SB with Brock…

I think so. Though if I recall correctly to start the year you were saying how hard it is to win a SB. Get to the playoffs where anything can happen.

What happened to keeping your debate consistent?

Why are you deflecting or trying to make it about me? The question was can you win a Super Bowl with him….you said "I think so" that's all that needs to be said.

At this point I don't know how you can say I think so about any of them…it's such a small sample size.

Why ask my opinion then tell me I don't have enough data to form one?

You didn't answer his question though…

What was the question?

Can you win a SB with Brock…

Going off what he has shown so far, I'd say yes.

I asked you to answer the question. Not deflect it. Hey man if you think 170 passing attempts is enough data to think he can win a Super Bowl fine. I'm pointing out how silly that is. But yes that's your opinion

It's not a serious question.

Why do teams want elite quarterbacks? It's because it's the easiest ticket to having a great offense in today's NFL. Having as good an offense you can, as good a defense you can, and having a variety of ways to win games is key to winning Super Bowls.

Our offense last year with Brock at QB was without question a good enough offense to win the Super Bowl.

An opinion shared by nearly everyone who watches football that isn't hell bent on Trey starting.

19 points isn't enough to beat Mahomes.

Neither was Burrow's 20. Or Lawrence's 20. The elite QBs dont always put up points. Look at Arod vs us in playoffs

An opinion based off not much football either way. Like I said if you think 100 passing attempts and 170 passing attempts are enough to have the conviction you have. Fine, I don't see that as reasonable.

FWIW I'm hell bent on letting Lance have a chance to fail before we just conclude he's a failure.

19 points was enough to beat Dallas, the team we played in that game. A touchdown win, and a cover. Dallas' defense is much better than the Chiefs defense.

The team averaged 30+ points a game over 7-8 games with Brock as QB, which would be the best rate in the league. Your expectations are entirely misplaced if you think it's realistic to perform better than that.
