People clamoring for a top 5 QB. We had one play top 5 and people don't even realize.

If the offense and Brock didn't play at an elite level during that stretch, then what the hell is. No losses (until he couldn't play), 33+ pts a game, top 5 in nearly all offensive catagories, no interceptions in the playoffs, better than 4-1 TD-INT ratio, set numerous rookie records. Lol

I really don't understand some folks. Purdy isn't elite because that requires consistency, but at least he's shown he can play at that level for at least 7-8 games. I want to see how far that goes before we go back to trying someone who's operated the offense at a 14 ppg average.

Its like these guys would see more potential in Fred Warner if he were part of the QB competition. I'll take the quarterback over the athlete

But they're quick to talk about how Purdy is probably a flash in the pan and since Lance has had a few nice throws, he has way more potential. Makes me feel like I'm in the twilight zone.

i sure as hell hope that Lance turns into mahommes but the rationale behind it all is wild af.

They're not impressed with Brock, but they're over here blowing a load because Trey threw a spiral lol. I just don't get it

No, I think they want to give him away because he sucks. Purdy is their way out without looking like idiots.

Idk why this is so inconceivable to some. They picked Trey with basically no tape. There was no way of knowing if he would be good or bad when we drafted him. They invested in the person (physical attributes, personality) thinking they could make a player out of him. Terrible mistake and they realized quickly the juice isn't going to be worth the squeeze. With Brock they have the chance to get something back. Something is better than nothing

That's why we went for Trey and Purdy is good but I'd still develop both guys and right now Trey happens to be healthy. Only when we win it all will I be ready to declare the QB that dude

A QB that runs an offense to 30+ ppg can beat Mahomes. Brock has already beaten a defense wayyyy better than the Chiefs.

We don't need a big QB, or a fast QB, or a QB with a 6 pack, or whatever it is you guys dream of. We need a guy that scores points with the best of them, that's it. Doesn't matter how, we just need to score. We found that with Brock, and most of the fan base (along with John and Kyle) are much more intrigued to move forward with him than Trey.

It's really not about Brock is going to be great and we know it. It's more like Brock actually has a chance and Trey doesn't.

If Trey were any good John's phone wouldn't stop ringing. I know some are hyping this QB class, but it's weak imo. Youd think these teams would rather give us their pick for Trey instead drafting a guy like Richardson

AZ got a 2nd and 5th for s**t Rosen after his 13 starts of trash play. NJ got a 2nd/4th/6th for Sam after he showed the league he stunk.

It took overtime for the Chiefs to score 20 and beat Malik Willis led Tenn. that's 17 points in regulation. Also 17 points against the Colts. I guess Mahomes sucks lol

Making any crazy conclusions on either QBs is just silly at this point…only people doing that are people that have narratives and bias agendas.
