Do you think we will have the worst roster and coach in a couple years? Kap took over a sinking ship, hopefully that is not us

Kap got figured out before the ship sunk.

The stuff Brock was doing was within the offense so its likely to be more sustainable but it's still a short sample. Jimmy was an even smaller sample. I'd just rather have it given time before a final decision gets made.

The ship sunk that offseason. Lost the best TE on thr roster. Also Look at the WRs to start 2013. That's not going to happen to Brock

It's telling that no one is willing to give a 2nd. Trey just might not be good

Could it be telling you nobody on our side or anyone elses is seriously considering a trade to begin with?

If Trey were any good John's phone wouldn't stop ringing. I know some are hyping this QB class, but it's weak imo. Youd think these teams would rather give us their pick for Trey instead drafting a guy like Richardson

This post highlights the obvious lack of understanding of how the league works.

Most thought Jimmy G was good cause Godking Belicheat wanted him over Brady, but don't remember hearing any reports of teams blowing up his phone for either Brady or GQ. We hear reports about the Dolphins and their tampering, but 0 reports of the pursuit of a known good back up who was a 2nd rnd pick. How come if this is such a common practice as you make it sound? Why the heck only a 2nd? Cause it doesn't work that way is why. The NFL isn't fantasy football owners talking about making a trade so they can complete their lineups. Those kinds of talks are far far less common than the average fan thinks they are.

Hopefully not. He also has a far better offensive mind group guiding him then Kap ever did.

That being said it's still smarter to give it time and make sure.

my point is Brock didn't play elite and was very fortunate to have CMC and Kittle every game to throw to. Could've lost the Dallas game but Dak is a scrub. He didn't go undefeated actually PHI is a loss even though he didn't finish the game. Literally every single one of your posts are

He played darn close to elite. The Dallas game was tough because their defense was the mirror image of ours. The Cowgirls had maybe the second or third best defense that year.

Brock protected the ball. He only took two sacks. Even Kurt Warner only managed 11 points against the 2001 Bucs. And like Warner, Brock made the huge, game saving play when necessary. That was just an elite defense.

Why anyone else doesn't see that as a reasonable way to look at our QB position is beyond me.
Is there any credence to this at all? I have a skeptic eye on this because the 49ers FO tends to be a bit leak proof and that would be a $9.3 mil cap hit. But I guess anything is possible. I just hope not.

A 107 passer rating is elite, #1 in the NFL last year I believe.

He was top 10 in lots of statistical categories.

Calling his play anythjng but elite is silly.

What does a passer rating track? How is it calculated? I'm just curious how they come up with that number….

Whos doing that? I just think there are a lot of people that want to see more of Brock before they know if it's sustainable.

The bitter folks are the ones that want Trey off this team for pennies.

They are going to give time to make sure lol. Doesn't mean they have to hold onto a player that they don't see having a future

Kap & Harbaugh got done in by Baalke's bad decision making.

Larry is a dummy….he's a 49er content creator. Not news breakers or reporters…which are massively different things.

I don't know how anyone can come to the conclusion any player doesn't have a future based on such a small sample. Including the 9ers brain trust.

Anytime a mobile QB doesn't pan out the narrative is always he got figured out, but yea the organization was in steep decline as soon as he took over. That's why I don't see the comparisons to Kap. Not to Jimmy either, because Jimmy wasn't really running Kyles offense in his first starts with us

Sure hope that's the case. I really hoping that Lance balls out. Guess I'm hoping for a good 'ol QB controversy, because that would mean we're finally getting good, consistent QB play.
