im not saying that's who Brock is. I'm pointing out there's been QBs that most wouldn't call elite QBs that played well for 7+ games. Where the play matters a ton. We will see with Brock.

Please list all of the QBs whose first 7 starts matched Brock's.

You'd have to first start by listing all of the teams that had as much talent as last year's team (coaching and players) which might already be a list with 0 peers.

I don't think JG was having a career year, I heard that take, however he looked rusty vs DEN, among others.

I think his best was 2017 / 2019.

QBR reflects this also, 2019 higher than 2022 and 2017 much higher.

Not much sample size but here are the other QBRs including TL as it's his thread; as well as the draft class

numbers are year 1/year2

Lawrence - 33/54
Fields - 26/54
Lance - 33/34
Wilson - 28/36
Mac - 50/36

I don't think Brock Purdy was better than Andrew Luck his rookie year, but it would be impossible to argue otherwise using those kinds of stats.

There's conversation about Jimmy G having the best year of his career last year but to your point was he actually playing better or was his job just easier? To me he was the same Jimmy G we've seen since 2019.
