I typically have no issue with players doing that this time of year but it isn't like he couldn't find a week in the off season where training isn't going on at the facility?
it's the biggest off season of his life and he isn't even in team meetings? I know it isnt mandatory but that's strange.
Purdy is in rehab and found a way to show up. Purdy is my guy even more Now.

So how great is the QB room really? If we quit living off of Trey's ceiling that is unlikely to ever be reached, is this QB room really that strong? Fans from other teams don't view Trey or Sam the same way this board does.
*DISCLAIMER* Not saying Trey is a bust. I'm just saying it I'd unlikely he reaches the pinnacle that alot of you seek. He could end up being a good starter.....somewhere. it's just unlikely he reaches that top 5 QB status that many envision. IMO

maybe it's just because he's been working with a coach and needed a break. I just look at it as if someone was taking my job and I had a chance to get in some limited time with the boss to prep, I would. Mandatory or not. To each their own. I guess it's not like he has a good chance of unseating Purdy unless his recovery doesn't go well.
