I think people will be surprised if Trey is traded. I think the niners will get a player and some picks - not just picks. A player who can contribute right away would be very valuable.

I think if it happens this year, it'd be surprising. But, he's gone, within the next two years.

It's not dumb, I actually think it's a brilliant observation on my part and Brock is the real deal. Unlike, Trey, who hasn't showed s**t in 2 years.

You have no f**king clue if he's the real deal…I can show you a dozen or more throws that were awful. People thought Jimmy was the "real deal" how'd that work out?

Can you show me two years of bad play from Lance? Please show me…oh you can't because he hasn't played. That's massively different

Why does Brock praise offend you?

Saying Brock is rhe real deal is not outrageous.

It is outrageous to compare Brock's career numbers to other players career best 5 game stretch to try to equate the two.

It is outrageous to be this confident in either direction after such a small sample size, especially considering how badly we were just burned by the whole Jimmy fiasco.

Even during the amazing 5 game stretch by Jimmy in 2017, he wasn't even sniffing Purdy's jockstrap. And I am one of Jimmy's biggest supporters. Purdy is legit.

Yeah, lol, I'll leave the preaching to the clergy and the Pope.

Brock was great, but his future is still unknown.

If you can make comments like this, why are you constantly picking fights with people who claim that "Brock is our QB1 if he can demonstrate he is healthy", "we need to wait and see how Brock's rehab goes before he is appointed QB1" or something similar?

You are something else. SMFH.

You done typing? Waiting to read about the pass catchers

I thought good QB's elevate WR's? If they are pro bowl calibre QB's shouldn't they be the ones making WR's look good?

Lol he made it to the pro bowl in spite of them. Partly why he was top100 player

Mitchell Trubisky was in the pro bowl. But I do agree with you that Mac Jones would look much better here with this cast of players and coaches.

That's one of my biggest issues with Lance. He played like complete crap with a stacked roster and coaching staff.

imagine him on that bears team or patriots? Lol it would be insanely embarrassing.

comparing lances situation to macs or fields is just idiotic.

I know there are new trolls here, so I'll just repond to your account since you've been here since 2010. Trey didn't have a stacked roster his first Cardinals game... he was missing George F'n Kittle and I believe Trent Williams and others...like um, the f'n kicker lol.. which forced Kyle, stupidity, to not even try FGs with the replacement Kicker... and constantly go for it on 4th downs. So even though Trey helped move the ball almost every possession pass the 50 yard line.. we didn't have much to show for it.

As far as trading Trey.. I'm not a hater or selfish. I want to see the kid succeed. If that means on another team, I'd be excited to watch every Vikes game. They have always had a talented team, but having a potential game breaking QB would be like the Randle Cunningham, Duante Culpepper, Farve days...

BUT that being said.. it would be idiotic to trade Trey when we don't know how Brock is 2 years in a row. We've seen many examples in the past of QBs having a great year, then defenses adjusting and those QBs are not the same. I like Brock for many reasons... just the little things he does... but at the same time, he has had a stacked team... so I'd like to see how he bounces back... how he goes through a season if we miss more starting players on offense.. etc. We have the luxury of having two QBs on cheap deals.... we need to maximize that..and not worry about draft picks. This is a decision that will affect us for the next decade.

JL is fine, he builds most of the rest of the squad, which is loaded beyond belief, QB is up to Shanny

Jimmy was throwing to guys like Trent Taylor, Marquise Goodwin, and Garrett Celek. You can't really compare their situations, but what we can say is that Jimmy was never as good in the years that followed as he was during that 5 game stretch.

I'm getting dizzy, refreshing NFL.com, ESPN and NFL Talk. I want something so bad to happen with a Lance trade in this draft.

patience, grasshopper

Very unlikely something happens today. Usually it's closer to the draft when teams get real.
