you or I have no idea who's gonna be starting come WK1 or for how long. Again making any conclusions right now in April is in fact…. silly.

You have no idea what they're looking at. So don't act like you do.

Then don't move him. Simple as that. He's on the team for multiple years still on a rookie contract. We have no clue what Brock really is or will be after the fact…so let's just stop assuming all the damn time…that has constantly f**ked this team. Especially at QB.

Fair, enough. No one knows, what they're looking at, I can go with that. Looks like we finally, agree on something.

Who said he's not playing? He's currently gonna be getting a bunch of 1st string reps all through camp and very well could be the starting QB come WK1. Brock is in fact not healthy and will not be for months. Even he himself said he doesn't know if he will play this yr.

Like I said perviously, talking in absolutes regarding our QBs is a foolish thing to do, you should have enough experience understanding that by now.

trading him for subpar draft compensation, in a f**king awful draft when they have 11 picks…is in fact dumb.

Tossing all you eggs into a one armed Brock who we have no clue on if he can maintain his play from last yr or when he will even play and a horrible Sam Darnold…is incredibly ignorant.

A lot of wishful thinking there. It is obvious Lynch is dog whistling to other general managers about taking calls means they are done with Trey and are moving his locker closer to the door. Trading him creates close to $10 million in cap space. It might get them a draft pick to draft a QB who has more college experience and needs less "development". More like Brock who just hit the ground running and did the job rather than Mr Green who just got broken in no time at all.

It's truly is the dumbest most unrealistic sports conversations I've ever witnessed. And Ive seen some doozies in the other guy thread. The guy has played 4 games. Not 4 games in a row mind you, 4 random games. Thing is... He played pretty well in Houston after an initial rough start going 16-23, 69%, 2 TD 1 int, 250 passing,, 116 rating w/ 31 rushing. Then they ridiculously judge him in a rain game. Was Lance bad? Yes but not many QBs, especially brand new QBs play well in that sort of game. It's astonishing that people don't understand that.

Now I don't know if Trey is going to be good, I think he has tremendous talent but that doesn't change that a vast majority of QBs need at least a season to find their groove and to improve or fail. This is about as common sense as it gets in any sport and how fans do not understand this baffles me. I'm not trying to troll or push buttons but 4 games, not even in a row is like you said just flat out stupid.

The whole team played bad in that Bears game. Both teams did…we had all-pros like Trent/Deebo/Fred that looked bad. We lost our RB/no Kittle. The IOL looked like it was the first game they all played together (which it was). This roster come WK14 looked nothing like it did WK1, which should be common sense for some. I mean we tend to play like s**t overall early in the year every yr.

Oh I've shown many QBs who struggled much longer than Lance has, that went on to improve and be damn good starting QBs. That doesn't matter for some…weren't not allowed to develop a QB here because we're trying to win it all lol. Like Brock won't be developing all the same derp. Like he's not gonna have some WTF plays (which he's had more than people would like to admit) or bumps in the road all the same.

Yes please can we move a 22 yr old QB with 100 random passing attempts for a couple mid rd picks (like we don't have a ton of those) in a s**t draft smh. A kid they had some much conviction in just 2 yrs ago.

I wouldn't be shocked if he does get moved because this franchise does some dumb s**t.

I wouldn't call moving him, dumb s**t. It's just something, that's eventually going to have to happen.

Lol saying it's obvious is quite the assumption bud. I'll bet money other GMs call about all our damn players. They're doing the same s**t with Brandon Aiyuk…guess they're done with him too, eh?

no it does no create $10M in cap space this yr….name a QB they've developed? HA calling Lance Broken is funny considering Brock is the one with a torn UCL and said he might not even play this year.

Brocks, going to play this year. He's just trying to be realistic, about the situation.

This isn't going to end well.

According to who? This time last year Lance was QB1, Brock was not even gonna get drafted and most thought he would get cut by the end of camp…talking in absolutes is dumb.

we all thought Jimmy was the next Brady after 2017. He did what Brock did only on a vastly s**tter team. Guess what he never took that next step. He never became a consistent QB let alone a pro-bowler. He got hurt a s**t ton…Brock isn't some iron man either. Broken ribs after his first start. Torn UCL after 7 starts.

we have NO IDEA about our QB position long-term. So let's stop acting like we do.

I agree with that they've done some really dumb s**t in the past.

No one has a f**king clue. I've explained this injury multiple times. Next time say "hope" he plays this yr. "Hope" he plays to the level he did last yr. That's the only realistic thing. "Hope"

Ok, let's let the front office do, what they feel is best for the franchise. But, holding out hope, like what your proposing, waiting to get a first, like they did with Jimmy holding on to him, for something that never going to happen, like your proposing is just silly and unreasonable.

You mean the front office that had so much conviction in a 20 yr old QB that they made the biggest trade in franchise history for?

now they're gonna sell him for a couple day 2/3 picks after 100 random passing attempts? All while assuming we have the next great QB off of 170 passing attempts, who currently can't even wipe his ass?

It's nothing to do with hope. If you can't get some stupid compensation. Then don't move him. Period.

we have no reason to. He's cheap and on his rookie deal for two more years. Making some grand assumption that Brock is the answer at this point is foolish. Having Lance here doesn't hurt the team in anyway…they clearly loved him enough to move up to get him. We need QBs. Not the other way around.
