You mean the front office that had so much conviction in a 20 yr old QB that they made the biggest trade in franchise history for?

now they're gonna sell him for a couple day 2/3 picks after 100 random passing attempts? All while assuming we have the next great QB off of 170 passing attempts, who currently can't even wipe his ass?

Come on, NY, don't be such a unreasonable, litttle tweet. You really are losing creditability with me. Your out of your mind, if you don't think we can get a good return for Trey, maybe not a first. And, that Dirty can't make a full recovery, with the way modern science is now. Come on, man. Don't be so f**king unreasonable. Why are you making things, so difficult for yourself. It really is simple, get what we can for him, so we can all move on, and get on with our lives.

we have no reason to. He's cheap and on his rookie deal for two more years. Making some grand assumption that Brock is the answer at this point is foolish. Having Lance here doesn't hurt the team in anyway…they clearly loved him enough to move up to get him. We need QBs. Not the other way around.

serious question.

What does Trey Lance offer that DTR or Hendon Hooker doesn't?

Tweet? WTF is that?

no I'm being objective and I've watched enough 49er football to know….you can not put all your eggs in one basket at QB. You'd think you'd get it at this point.

This this just going over your head? Has to be…I don't want to move Lance UNLESS it's for some unreasonable trade compensation or we're landing a HOF level QB. Both of which are not gonna happen. SO don't move him. Period.

You wanted to move so badly off a young QB that isn't hurting this team in anyway is what is unreasonable. We have ONE QB that is currently cleared to play football right now. ONE and that dudes is f**king trash bag Sam Darnold.

I don't need to explain what Brock's surgery/injury/recovery consists of…I've already outlined it many times. My wife is a MD DPT and understands the recovery and how you can lose all that rehab in the blink of an eye by throwing a football or getting hit, if you're not 110% back to where you should be. So don't talk to me about being unreasonable.

I'm sorry, that's all I can think of. That's probably the wrong word. Hard ass is probably, more appropriate.

NY, we have to move on from, Trey. Brock is the better player for our system. Can't hold on to him like we did Jimmy, hoping to get something, that's never going to happen. Come on, man. I don't think, the front office, even see's it your way, anymore. I'm really starting to think you've been hitting the sauce, a little too much. Stick with non-alcoholic, my friend.

Lance has been in the offense for years. He's bigger than DTR and that UCLA scheme wasn't exactly asking him to make these high level anticipatory throws…And I think Hooker is overrated (and he's 25 with a torn ACL currently). That Tenn offense was not close to what we do here…so acting like he could just run this offense is "hope" imo.

I would prefer DTR based on where his projection is in the draft. For me moving Lance so I could draft one of those dudes is a downgrade and makes no sense.

And Trey is 787 days younger. Lol I saw a random tweet about this earlier and made me think of it. He's younger than Will Levi's too

We don't have to do s**t…that's what you don't get. Lance isnt playing on a top tier QB salary with no GTD cash like Jimmy. The situations are not similar. We at least knew what Jimmy was.

it the FO is dumb enough to move up for a young QB like that only to let him play in 4 random football games then toss him in the trash for some day 3 pick. Then people need to be fired. Brock doesn't change any of it. Kid was a luck pick and has 170 passing attempts. Same s**t Jimmy had when everyone in here thought he was the next Brady. Look how that turned out.

my whole point is moving him for nothing is stupid. They need QBs and they clearly valued him a ton. We don't need more day 3 picks in an awful draft. Having all 3 QBs currently is fine and why people don't get that is beyond me.

Why hold him prisoner. He has to move on, and find a new home for himself, and rediscover his potential. Been, hitting the sauce a little to much, it seems. Stick, with non-alcoholic, my friend.

Prisoner of what? He's getting damn near all the 1st string reps this off season and has a chance to be the starter WK1. He's under contract here. Why hold Sam Prisoner? Why hold Danny gray prisoner? We should trade them all right?

guess we should have traded him as soon as we drafted him because he wasn't starting day 1 lol…

Only one who seems drunk this early is you my dude.

Lol, I don't drink anymore, been 25 years. Just, coffee and an occasional O'Douls, non-alcoholic. Why are you so fixed in keeping him? He's not all that, I think we all know that now. He has talent, but he hasn't proven s**t in three years.

It's rare hahah but I do agree with NY. We don't have to do anything and Trey isn't a victim/prisoner here.

he has a very real chance to impress and push for the starting job.
i personally think Purdy will get the chance to start once's he's healthy, barring an extreme circumstance, but Lance can put him on a short leash. Forcing the coaches to make a hard decision.

I believe every decision the front office has made this off-season was to essentially put all the pressure on Lance to perform. They can move off him relatively easy and have minimal to the teams chances/damage the roster or they can keep him and it doesn't make any sort of negative impact to the roster.
