Ideally would love to get a top 40 pick for Trey. Not sure that happens but if we do get this type of offer it would be tough to say no. The kid has potential but I just don't see the Niners finding playing time for him. While not ideal, if Purdy takes longer to mend, I think Niners brass is comfortable starting Darnold and drafting a rookie QB that mimics Purdy's skill set.

It's a calculated risk for sure. We'd use that top 40 pick on a tackle because if we don't invest in the OL, all of our QBs will get demolished.

Top 40, is very realistic for Trey.

I don't think it is at all

Plus or minus a slot or two, maybe. Realistically, speaking.

Not in my opinion. Most I see a team giving up for Trey is a 4th rounder

We have 2 qbs on rookie deals. 1 looking like a franchise QB and the other with the potential to be a franchise qb.And both are hurt

If anything, trade one when they are both healthy

Keep him until his contract is up. Insurance, incase the plan with Dirty doesn't pan out.

thanks and i just saw that Ryan Hensley verified he's there. i still believe it's likely he gets moved during the draft.

Possibly. So could BA or really anyone that teams are calling on…price has gotta be right though.

In that case, we better keep him.

Exactly. No one cares about mid level draft picks. We got a f**k ton of those. We don't have a legit answer at QB right now regardless of what people think. If Brock comes back and continues to ball out, then move him. If Brock doesn't. Well put Lance in and let him play

The Jets don't want to give up a 1st for Aaron Rodgers cause he may retire after 1 year. Lance hasn't shown he can be a starting QB for a full year in this league and you think a 2nd round pick is a lock. Gardner Minshew went for a 6th round pick and he's shown more than Trey.

Yeah, very smart, NY. That's why I like you. Just kidding, I actually dispise you.

Trade Aiyuk, Trey, two of our 3rd rounders and next years 3rd to Texans for their 12 and 33.

His value is very low right now. If trading him is what the team wants to do, let him play this preseason and serve as backup in 2023. That should increase his value. If he does poorly in preseason/regular season 2023, I don't much difference between his trade value right now and his trade value after an uninspiring 2023.

If we trade BA this year instead of trading Deebo last year

would you trade Trey + one of the 3rd rd comp picks for HOU's 2nd (33rd overall)?

i would in a heartbeat.

Deebo is a much better football player than Aiyuk

Yeah, Dirty was the last pick in the draft and he's shown more than Trey, who was the 3rd overall. Don't mean to single out Trey, but expectations can be a b***h sometimes.
