Happy birthday, NY! I've never been but Negril is on my bucket list! Hope you have a great time.

It means BA did more to help the team win games in 2022, he was cooking guys more often and giving open throws to the QB more often, no knock on Deebo we have two #1s imo, it will help TL or whoever else is QB.. KS he gets the WR position he develops these guys into stars, we would be wise to keeping drafting and developing and at times, trade out cuz it is hard to keep them all. Gray up next hopefully, he has all the traits to dominate, just needs the development

so I guess the latest IG post proves Trey isnt in Santa Clara?

Trey may never come back to Santa Clara. I see him moved during the draft, whether we like it or not.

same. yesterday's Haberman & Middlekauff pod convinced me.

What did they say?

  • team has said Brock is the starter and the leader
  • team says Lance needs PT to improve
  • if Brock is the starter, there's no PT for Lance to improve
  • if they keep Lance and he gets beat out by Sam Darnold, his value plummets immensely
  • the team is taking a risk banking on Brock being healthy but it's a risk theyre willing to take.
  • a good trade with HOU would be Lance + one of the 3rd rd comp picks for HOU's 2nd (33 overall)

to add to the speculation we know Trey is currently in relaxing in Hawaii while Brock and Sam are in Santa Clara OTA'ing

Has it been confirmed that he isn't in Santa Clara? Or are those old pics? If they are old, idk when because I thought he's been in Houston training.

yeah it's now been confirmed he's in Santa Clara

Which you're helping my point. Deebo's compensation would have been higher than anything BA will fetch us. Because teams were looking for this type of player.

You can prefer Deebo and his skill set. For me I'd rather BA

In a offense where the coach can figure out ways to get the ball in a players hand virtually anytime he wants I want the game changer with the ball in his hand.

Doesn't if feel great to be a Niner fan right now. Good times to celebrate. Don't be strangers, love each other. Life is a gambary, let's live it together. I'll take it back, let's hate each other, it's funnier that way. Or, maybe not. Don't listen, to me, I tend to ramble on somtimes. Go, Niners, go! and go Warriors, tonight.

This might come as a surprise to some, but Kyle's offense isn't some super innovative scheme. The plays he runs are found in many NFL playbooks. The difference is he has two guys that can line up anywhere on the field and create mismatches - Deebo and CMC.
Trading Trey would be a massive mistake

Did they not learn their lesson last year and years prior? Not to mention selling him low?

With the film you watch would you say players get open because of crisp routes or just because of the scheme?
BA is like a Maclin to me. Very good WR that can be a #1, but isn't like a Diggs or Jefferson. Deebo is just too good of a football player. There are so many WRs at BAs level or better
If the 49ers traded two first round picks, and swapped an additional first round pick, for a 3rd round pick in 2023 (or worse), whoever spearheaded the Trey trade better have their draft card pulled. Because if what you know now, after four NFL games (and practices, I understand) is that Trey is worth so little today, you obviously didn't do enough research, or have the skills required, to be in charge of such a large investment.

Lol, your from NY, I love you. I got family in New York. We're in a New York state of mind, right? I don't know why I'm talking so much. Got Warriors on the brain, I guess. Talk s**t, like a New Yorker, too. Sorry, it's the Irish in me talking. Sorry, will behave myself. Will, stop with the s**t talking and back to the Trey trade talk with my fellow Zoners. Thank god I got the Zone to get me through the slow times.

Weak answer, but, both. There are good playcalls dialed up at the right time, which helps the players get open (scheme). Sometimes Aiyuk/CMC/Kittle is better than the defender opposite of them (the player). My post above was about Kyle's play design - it's nothing crazy imo. Sometimes Kyle makes the players look good, sometimes the players make him look good. My main point from above is that Deebo is the mismatch player (chess piece). Not to take anything away from Aiyuk's slick route running, it's just that I think DCs have a harder time gameplanning against Deebo than Aiyuk.
Anyway, Trey.

ehhh. players bust and FOs move on. happens all the time in the NFL. the crazy thing is despite what they gave up to move up for Trey, the team is one of the top two teams in the conference. could've been far more devastating.
