Eh, we should have probably Just drafted an entirely different position all together If we're being honest.

Giving up 3 first round picks for a raw project was always gonna be a huge gamble.

I like Fields, but he has inferior passing talent.

Let's see what he looks like throwing to DJ Moore, Claypool and Mooney, with Kmet

He'll still struggle passing the ball, got to be born with it. Just ask, Trey.

I think it is never too late to do good or get better. TL can. So can Fields and everyone. Hurts he really came into his own when they slotted the WRs correct, AJ Brown as #1, Smith as #2.

Props to you and sorry about your kid.

She doesn't remember s**t. She was two. He used to take her to a local store and f**k with her. He died in prison of a heart attack. Guess god took care of that. Good for him. Don't have to worry about that fool anymore. And all the little girls are safe now, with that pervert gone.

You can work on your mechanics till the cows come home, but you can't teach feel and accuracy. Dirty was born with that, it just comes natural to him. He makes it look easy. Like Joe did.

A source confirmed NFL Media insider Ian Rapoport's report that, yes, unspecified teams have called about Lance's availability and, no, the 49ers are not seeking to trade him.

publicly. they said it multiple times publicly. Kyle and John have not done that for Trey.

That's because Deebo was PUBLICILY trying to force a trade.

Why would Kyle and John give credence to a BS report when they could just talk to their players about where they stand behind closed doors?

If Kyle came out and said we're not trading him, would that actually make anyone believe it? Obviously not. Would the forum stop speculating he could be traded? NO.

I don't understand why you and many other posters are spreading a bunch of rumors that Trey's not at working camp and that the team doesn't defend him... its all lazy nonsense.

this offseason, Kyle and John have both PUBLICLY stated everyone is available for trade. Kyle and John have also both stated Brock is the leader and the starter for this team when he's healthy. Kyle and John have also said Trey needs more playing time to improve. if Brock has no setbacks, where is Trey going to get that much-needed PT? if Trey cant beat out Sam Darnold, they'll lose the current value of Trey's "potential". then what?

all these points are why a trade isnt as far fetched as many of you in here are making it.

Sorry, Zoners, really the wrong place to be spilling my diry laundry. I always felt this place as a safe haven to talk Niner Football and shoot the s**t with fellow Zoners. I apologize, we'll keep it Niners related. The possibility of a Lance trade and a possible replacement of our RT and maybe an edge to help out Bosa really has me jacked.

You completely avoided my question.

I'm not saying I don't understand why they would trade Trey. I wouldn't personally, but depending on how they feel about him behind closed doors they could reasonably decide that he's worth trading... it just depends on his value to another team.

Brock playing 17 games would be well worth the "gamble" of keeping Trey IMO. But all 49ers fans have to admit that the likelihood of QB2 and QB3 getting playing time this year is incredibly high. So yeah, Brock having no setbacks at all would be a great problem to have.

My question is, why the need to post multiple posts that Trey's not at camp with everyone else, and your only reasoning is that he posted some photos on Instagram? Its purposely misleading, and so is acting like the Deebo contract situation is relevant to rumors that teams are calling about Trey. Once again, purposely misleading.
I feel like trey is a goner

because there were no reports or pics on Mon or Tues of him being in the bldg and his IG had posts from Tues and Wed showing him chilling in Hawaii. he also posted this on Monday night. the speculation was warranted.

He is, depending how Dirty's elbow shakes out. If unforseen plans change with Dirty, he's back in the picture again. The future is not promised to anyone. He just needs to stay the course and bite his time. Is that right, bite his time? Lol. I think it's by his time. That why I think it's foolish to get rid of Trey prematurely until we know if Dirty can come back and be the same player or close to it.

Dirty?

Kyle might feel fine with going with Darnold to open the season if Purdy isn't ready yet.

Also, good point on knbr was made, what if Darnold beats out Lance in camp? His value will plummet.

This is all about risk/reward situation.

49ers have a potential SB roster but we just watched a season where the best roster in the NFL got embarrassed and our season ended because we didn't have a QB of any worth in a must win game.

So we want to get rid of Trey who currently is the only QB under contract who will be healthy for training camp and has actually played in this offense and been inside this locker room.

Ok fine...this is the risk involved

You trade Lance and odds are you're left relying on Brock to get back 100% and Darnold to be a good pickup. Neither is guaranteed. What happens if a repeat of anything near like what happened last year goes down?

What's more devesatitng to our chances of repeating? Not getting that top 50 pick for Trey(while also taking a cap HIT)? Or finding ourselves playing another mid round rookie QB or Josh Johnson level QB?

It's just not a risk worth taking, not for the level of return you're going to get. First round pick...ok you take the risk and hope to hell Brock is back and stays healthy and Darnold and Shanahan are a match made in bust overturn heaven.

Getting a mid-late 2nd round pick for Trey to me isn't worth the risk. The whole idea is you have a team ready to win now and you saw what happened last year. I'm sure even the anti Trey crowd in here would admit Trey is a much better option than Josh Johnson type.

I would much rather take less in a trade for Trey but get a good look at him in training camp. Get a good look at Darnold in training camp and get a better report on Brock's recovery in training camp and if Trey doesn't impress you then you move him. Yes it MAY be for less but you're ensuring you're setup for success for this season.

There is 0 guarantee the pick(s) we get from trading Lance would make an impact this season or at all. Some of you guys are so hard up for draft picks so the draft isn't boring you lose all sense of logic and reason.

You don't like Dirty, he has like ten nicknames. I like using, Dirty Purdy, it fits him and his personality, lol.
