It's cool, the lizard people living in the center of the earth told him to do it.

How much draft compensation could Brock land us in a trade 🤔

i didnt see or hear anything about Sam's IG until today since i dont follow him. i think Sam is INT machine and im not that big of a fan of his, so that's worth nothing to me.

again i have zero bias against Trey. im known to be a homer. you and others OTOH have proven to definitely have a pro Trey bias and that evidence was all over the Jimmy G thread.

Sure dude lol. I've seen your posts.

also did you not say Brock and Sam were both in the facility? Without actually knowing if Sam was…why say that?

Big letters on the pervervible wall. Never heard of the saying? When Purdy balled out last year, plans changed in the organization with Trey as the franchise QB. That's what I mean, when I say the writing has been on the wall.for a while. That clear it up for you a little bit? That's about as clear as I can make it, with a junior college education, lol.

Nope. Never once in my life have I heard of the "pervervible" wall. What exactly is it?

Pervervible, is just an adjative. I can google it to help you out a little, I you perfer.

Please. Are you looking for the word "proverbial"? Which is an adjective?

I aplogize, my public high school and college education didn't come with much of a mastery of English spelling, but I think it's ok, enough. I know my spelling can be rough at times. But, for a sports forum, I think it's acceptable enough, lol. Lighten up, bud. Life if short.

I'm not trying to poke fun, always enjoyed your posts, Mayo. I'm just trying to understand exactly what you mean and where you're coming from.

I know your not. I just think, Trey's future has always been in jeopardy, since Dirty come on the scene and balled out. Plans, change. I apologize, don't mean to come across as being defensive.

Don't apologize homie, fun thing about this place is we all get to voice our own opinions. Truthfully, I can't stand Darnold. But if he was starting games for us I'd be his biggest fan.

Yeah, got Warriors on the brain today. Hope they run the table on the wannabe Warriors, Kings, lol. You a fan? They're probably my most favorite sports fanchise, after my Niners.

My money is still on, Dirty. I think he comes back to his old self if his rehab goes smoothly. I think he's on track to be the starter come opening day. I think the writing has been on the wall for Trey for a while. Hopefully, John and Kyle can find a nice landing spot for him to resserect his career. Don't know if it'll happen now or anytime soon, but within the next two years at least, if Trey comes back to being the same player we seen last year. Just my two cents on the matter. Discuss.

OK I will discuss.

"The writing has been on the wall for Trey for a while".......whats a while to you? And what is the writing on the wall you speak of?

You have no idea if Purdy is on track to start on opening day. Zero idea.

Trey doesnt need his career to be "resurrected." For all intents and purposes, his career hasnt even really started. I am a fan of Brock Purdy and if he can play like he played last season on a consistent basis, I will have no problem with him being our QB. However, if we dump Trey for a poor return just because we have Brock, its gonna be a bad look. And if Trey turns out to be an elite QB elsewhere, I am going to be pissed. But who knows if he ever will get to that point. No one does.

Lastly, can we please stop with the Dirty thing? Its annoying, dumb, and will never catch on.

It's been on the wall for Trey since Dirty appeared before us. Need I say more? If Dirty bugs you, I won't use it when were conversing about him with you. I don't always use it, though, I try to mix it up.

I support Dirty Purdy.

TBF… I think I like Dirty Purdy over BCB. Neither are great though.

Okay but I don't mean like in a filthy way. Lol I first said dirty Purdy when I was watching him and saw him juke a defender. I said to myself "damn he did him dirty.. Dirty Purdy!!" Hahaha literally how I came up with it

Yeah, it's not dirty in any way. Just means slick it what he does. Like the word bad, doesn't always mean the negative term, bad.

And? Who cares. They're not gonna get super meaningful trade compensation right now anyway.

Imagine if they trade Lance for a 3rd and some team actually develops him and he turns into a Hurts type QB? Meanwhile there is a situation where Brock never regains that play from last yr and turns into a Jimmy G type QB. Then what? Everyone gonna get fired? Someone should…what has happened to Lance is QB development malpractice. They should never be allowed to draft a QB again imo. There's no patience and clearly no real plan. Let's toss you in and if you're not great from day 1 on to the next.

people bring up Fields (who was my pick) he would have never been whatever he is in Chicago right now. He would have been hurt or on the bench. Kyle would have flipped his s**t if he took off after seeing his first read wasn't there. IMO Mahomes would have never been Mahomes here all the same. His first yr was backyard football (still kinda is). Kyle would have never allowed that.

I think Kyle is a great coach. I really thought he showed growth when he went after Lance. I thought he was gonna allow his QB the opportunities to make plays, rather than be a robot to his offense. I remember the first couple weeks of Lance's first TC and everyone was saying he looked electric. He looked amazing. Kid was probably just going out and making plays. Then kyle said this is my offense and this is what you will do. It's why he loves Kirk and Jimmy. It's why he loves Brock. End of the day imo we won't win it all with just scheme.

This a hundred times over and over. Not gonna lie, this reminds me of when Reid had McNabb on the Eagles and every year they were so damn good but could never get over the hump. Andy stepped away and then came back to the Chiefs and got himself a Mahomes. Now do I think Trey will become like Mahomes? No. BUT the point being is Mahomes is allowed to do him while also running the offense.

There is no freedom with KS and that's his biggest problem. I'm sad, because honestly I don't want to see KS leave, but this situation has been so POORLY handled that it's looking we're gonna be back to the drawing board really soon. Like I said, if they trade Trey, I wouldn't blame Jed for losing his s**t and having heads roll if they don't win the SB with Brock.Good on him for staying out the spotlight because he has grown a lot since this tenure, but you have to wonder, when enough is enough and you need to step in as an owner.

If it's not our roster's window closing, this regime's window is closing after such a stupid way of handling the whole entire situation.

I'm one of Kyle's biggest supporters. I think he's an amazing offensive mind and great HC…however what he's done at that QB position overall has been a s**t show.

man, i have been saying that a long time now.. he gets the WR position, I don't know if he gets the QB position, now Griese does, and his hire may have aided us in landing and developing BP, so we are looking up, imo..

I like, BCB, but you have to explain what it means to people who don't know what BCB stand for. I just like using Dirty, it's short and sweet and it's him. He should make some tee shirts, it'd really catch on and he'd make a killing selling them. It'd be his signature shirt and logo.

The reason I dont like Dirty is because it doesnt make sense without putting Purdy after it. If his name was Brock Williams, it wouldnt make sense to call him Dirty.

IMO I'm not sure what Griese has done for Brock in what 6 months? Kyle's scheme and the talent here will help any QB. Have/will any of these QBs actually become better QBs? That's debatable imo.

I think there's a difference between getting the most out of a QB because of scheme/personnel and actually making the QB better.

Based on how everyone talks about Brock in here…we should land what, at least 2 1sts in a trade right?
