How much draft compensation could Brock land us in a trade 🤔

Not sure I don't care to find out cause I wouldn't trade him!!!

so yeah 2 1sts? Or dare we say more?!?!?

The only people that truthfully think Brock is elite are 49er fans and John/kyle desperately wanting it to be true.

Lol you claim you want a top QB who can play off schedule. You finally get a guy who gave that to you for 8 games and you refuse to see it because of your obsession for Trey.

Improving as a QB. In preseason I saw Brock as a guy who was still figuring it out and looking like a 7th rounder. If you watch the HOU preseason game, he is legit frustrated and shaking his head at himself at one point, after a couple poor plays in a row. You don't think he improved from being pick 262 to playing vs MIA in any way, is that your stance?

I saw a different QB from preseason to when his number was called in season. Clearly he wasn't just idle, he was putting in the work. Members of the D even talked about his attitude in prax, try and stop me. Griese was hired to be QB coach, work with those guys, BPs play indicates to me, he did a great job. Griese is one to watch, the NFL takes note of guys who get outstanding play from their positional group.

I asked you want he improved on as a QB…like what? What was he bad at in college that he magically improved upon because of a couple month of being with our QB coach?

It's going to have to happen, Kolohe, pending Trey's returning to his old form or close to it. If he can't come back 100% or close, the door opens for Trey to re-take his old job back and Brock is damaged goods and is out of the picture. So, there is still hope for Trey here.

I should have probably quoted one of your earlier posts instead of your most recent one.

I'm talking about your argument regarding Kyle's development of QBs, and that what's happened with Trey is 'developmental malpractice'.

youre wrong dude. you think i have an anti Trey bias because i pushed back on the ridiculous Jimmy posts. there are posts proving my pushback on stupid Trey posts by SD.i would love nothing more for Trey to fulfill his potential. it's just doesn't seem like the 49ers will be the team he can do with now that Brock Purdy has emerged.

i didnt see or hear anything about Sam's IG until today since i dont follow him. i think Sam is INT machine and im not that big of a fan of his, so that's worth nothing to me.

again i have zero bias against Trey. im known to be a homer. you and others OTOH have proven to definitely have a pro Trey bias and that evidence was all over the Jimmy G thread.

Sure dude lol. I've seen your posts.

also did you not say Brock and Sam were both in the facility? Without actually knowing if Sam was…why say that?

ohhhh! youve seen my posts? cool. whats a negative thing ive posted about Trey not including my since corrected assumption that he was in Hawaii earlier this week? youve seen my posts.

i explained where i first heard the news. go back and look in this thread to see the first post where i asked if anyone knew if Trey was in the bldg.

again i dont give a s**t about Sam Darnold. im not a fan. someone on Niner discord said he was there and i already knew Brock was in the bldg because it was reported. i cared a lot if Trey was there. why? because i would love nothing more for him to fulfill his potential.

you guys are acting like i'm trying to throw shade on Trey but im not. his assumed absence might've had something to do with the national dialog in sports media about Trey's possible trade. so in trying to connect the dots, this became a thing. it's since been corrected so i dont know why you guys are mad? (other than fact a few of you weirdly feel the need to be Captain Save-A-Trey if you perceive someone talking negative/bad about him)

i have run into these ppl myself there are some who don't even post content, they just go around policing yours for perceived bias, lack of QB 'fairness' etc.

No I'm not lol. He wasn't even my top guy for them to draft. Overall I would say no team is game planning for his legs. I wouldn't call his off schedule playing much different from what Jimmy did in 2017. I don't think his arm talent is great and I question how much was him vs how great the roster is. I will root for BCB or whomever is our guy out there on Sundays. I'm sorry I'm not all in or all out any QB with less than 10 starts.

It's pretty transparent, lol.

You don't care about Sam yet you felt the need to say he was at the facility working hard next to Brock while Lance was in "Hawaii" lol. In FACT You had no damn clue if he was there or not…and if you did the same damn search you did for Lance, you would have saw him out drinking beers with barstool guy out on the links lol.

you absolutely through shade on him and you were wrong. You even asked me to find you a link to make sure even though there was zero proof of him not even being there….Like I said A LOT of us could be better about saying we're wrong and moving on…instead of being defensive and deflecting.

I'm the same way and need to be better.

oh and if has nothing to do with save a Trey or whatever the f**k you're talking about. It's being objective about s**t. The hypocrisy and confirmation bias is f**king gross in here.

wait where did i say "working hard next to Brock"? i said Brock and Sam are OTA'ing. your perception of my comments further proves your bias.

i asked this thread about Trey's whereabouts and NO ONE had an answer until today. that's the FACT jack.

by basically calling me a liar youre just proving that youre nothing more than little butthurt Captain Save A-Trey. i told you my opinion, nothing i said i made up. i'm sorry youre so mad you just cant believe it.

I'm the same way and need to be better.

lol dont project your inadequacies on me. thanks.

If he plays much better next season with DJ Moore though then I'll be one of the first ones to annoyingly yell "I told you so."

He is, depending how Dirty's elbow shakes out. If unforseen plans change with Dirty, he's back in the picture again. The future is not promised to anyone. He just needs to stay the course and bite his time. Is that right, bite his time? Lol. I think it's by his time. That why I think it's foolish to get rid of Trey prematurely until we know if Dirty can come back and be the same player or close to it.

If they want to trade him before the draft to get picks for this year (which is the only thing that makes sense to me), then they'll have to trade him before they know how Purdy's rehab is going to go.
