My money is still on, Dirty. I think he comes back to his old self if his rehab goes smoothly. I think he's on track to be the starter come opening day. I think the writing has been on the wall for Trey for a while. Hopefully, John and Kyle can find a nice landing spot for him to resserect his career. Don't know if it'll happen now or anytime soon, but within the next two years at least, if Trey comes back to being the same player we seen last year. Just my two cents on the matter. Discuss.

OK I will discuss.

"The writing has been on the wall for Trey for a while".......whats a while to you? And what is the writing on the wall you speak of?

You have no idea if Purdy is on track to start on opening day. Zero idea.

Trey doesnt need his career to be "resurrected." For all intents and purposes, his career hasnt even really started. I am a fan of Brock Purdy and if he can play like he played last season on a consistent basis, I will have no problem with him being our QB. However, if we dump Trey for a poor return just because we have Brock, its gonna be a bad look. And if Trey turns out to be an elite QB elsewhere, I am going to be pissed. But who knows if he ever will get to that point. No one does.

Lastly, can we please stop with the Dirty thing? Its annoying, dumb, and will never catch on.

It's been on the wall for Trey since Dirty appeared before us. Need I say more? If Dirty bugs you, I won't use it when were conversing about him with you. I don't always use it, though, I try to mix it up.

I support Dirty Purdy.

TBF… I think I like Dirty Purdy over BCB. Neither are great though.

Okay but I don't mean like in a filthy way. Lol I first said dirty Purdy when I was watching him and saw him juke a defender. I said to myself "damn he did him dirty.. Dirty Purdy!!" Hahaha literally how I came up with it

Yeah, it's not dirty in any way. Just means slick it what he does. Like the word bad, doesn't always mean the negative term, bad.

I support this message. Hahaha

youre wrong dude. you think i have an anti Trey bias because i pushed back on the ridiculous Jimmy posts. there are posts proving my pushback on stupid Trey posts by SD.i would love nothing more for Trey to fulfill his potential. it's just doesn't seem like the 49ers will be the team he can do with now that Brock Purdy has emerged.

i didnt see or hear anything about Sam's IG until today since i dont follow him. i think Sam is INT machine and im not that big of a fan of his, so that's worth nothing to me.

again i have zero bias against Trey. im known to be a homer. you and others OTOH have proven to definitely have a pro Trey bias and that evidence was all over the Jimmy G thread.

Sure dude lol. I've seen your posts.

also did you not say Brock and Sam were both in the facility? Without actually knowing if Sam was…why say that?

ohhhh! youve seen my posts? cool. whats a negative thing ive posted about Trey not including my since corrected assumption that he was in Hawaii earlier this week? youve seen my posts.

i explained where i first heard the news. go back and look in this thread to see the first post where i asked if anyone knew if Trey was in the bldg.

again i dont give a s**t about Sam Darnold. im not a fan. someone on Niner discord said he was there and i already knew Brock was in the bldg because it was reported. i cared a lot if Trey was there. why? because i would love nothing more for him to fulfill his potential.

you guys are acting like i'm trying to throw shade on Trey but im not. his assumed absence might've had something to do with the national dialog in sports media about Trey's possible trade. so in trying to connect the dots, this became a thing. it's been since corrected so i dont know why you guys are mad? (other than fact a few of you weirdly feel the need to be Captain Save-A-Trey if you perceive someone talking negative/bad about him)

i have run into these ppl myself there are some who don't even post content, they just go around policing yours for perceived bias, lack of QB 'fairness' etc.

Why you gotta call out Waterbear like that?

LOL... nice one. Both of you... lack self-awareness much? Furlow must have the record for calling the most people on the forum haters. I very much pale in comparison. Can't compete on that level.

I've created two player profiles in the draft war room so far,,. which I do every year, 3-4 more to come. I don't see either of you there too often. Furlow's too busy making a fool of himself in the politics thread and faithful is too busy spamming every forum with repetitive nonsense.

BTW Faithful, I don't forget you policing the mean old men making fun of Jimmy, just because they posted negative film. Someone said Jimmy would have completed a pass that Trey missed, but you love to purposely ignore context when you're wrong. Which happens quite often. #greatpostfaithful

The former two showed a vastly larger sample size of being a bust and still netted a 2nd round pick and change. Wentz was washed with a bloated contract and netted two 3rds.

I don't buy the "Trey is only worth a 3rd" crap. It would definitely be a massive loss from the three 1sts we traded for him, but getting a 2nd is a very fair expectation.

I honestly think Trey Lance can still get the 9ers a 1st round pick. He's young, strong arm, mobile, has some NFL experience (giggling) and I think he's at least better than Anthony Richardson right now. At the very least I think two 2nd round picks is a deal.

I would say the same s**t…I would say it's 170 passing attempts and I'm not crowning anything. That's the truth of it regardless of what anyone thinks.

I do not think Lance has a questionable arm and I do think team would game plan for him running. They're not the same player talent wise…end of the day talent isn't the only thing that matters though.
I find that very hard to believe.

I think you're dreaming, but I'd love to be wrong.

show me the post that says i didn't think Lance isnt doing his job or is lazy????? youre f**king projecting your emotions dude.

ive posted my reason multiple times ( a possible impending trade) but you guys refuse to listen.

this forum was dubbed The Romper Room for a reason. most of you act like children.

So you used something that wasn't real to "project" a trade lol? Okay dude.

speculating and trying to connect the dots on something as important as a Trey Lance trade is exactly the kind of off-season discussion this forum and specifically this thread is here for.

making up a poster's words by projecting one's emotional perception of words is not what this thread is for.

Don't care if you find hard to believe. I said as soon as whomever we drafted. I wouldn't judge them off nothing either way and I would have no problem criticizing them like I did Jimmy after they played the same amount of reps.

"Projecting" a trade off something that wasn't true and not doing your homework over it because you want it to be true lolz.

just admitting you're wrong and moving on is the big boy thing to do…instead you went the childish route. Name calling. deflecting, and trying to discredit other posters. You're the one being emotional about it refusing to say I was wrong and that's it…

More than 102 that's for sure. How many do you suppose?
