How do you come up with this? it was a 9 point L.. That fumble cost us what 7? 3 maybe?

The Joe throw you reference in the video is 45 yards in the air. From our 25 to their 30. Any QB can make that throw dude lmao

But not just any QB is gonna beat Pat Mahomes

He lost to the Colts. Malik Willis took him to OT. You are out of your mind if you think the top offense and defense (which was us with Brock) could not beat the Chiefs

They got the ring and we didn't. We ain't beat Pat Mahomes yet and they smoked us in Levi's just this past season. There is nothing to say we were gonna beat KC when we couldn't even protect our 3rd and 4th string QBs vs PHI. PHI had the 2nd best defense and got 40 pts hung on them so that tells me we were gonna be in a track meet vs Mahomes and we have to be sure we have that guy to beat that guy. That is what I was wanted to see if Purdy could do at season's end. He didn't due to injury so now we are back at the drawing board waiting on him to become whole again, waiting on Trey to develop and Darnold to surprise us

Can't beat Mahomes with #1 offense and #1 defense. You guys might as well go be Chiefs fans lol

No, that just shows how important having an elite QB is. Elite QB > everything else.

Never said it's not important. You're saying we would never ever in a million years beat Mahomes when we had the best offense and defense with Brock lol

I'm not saying that lol. Just dipping my toe into this side argument. We had the better QB from 1992 through 1995 but Dallas won three Super Bowls and we only got one.

Well you came in a little late. You got the idea that I don't think a franchise QB is important and I'm not sure how

To be fair if Lance played that well, he has physical tools Brock doesn't, so the excitement would be entirely justified.

are you implying the excitement on BP isn't? on this TL has the tools BP doesn't.. why does he not play nearly on the BP level? Why is the team naming BP QB1?..

could it be BP has better tools?..

I understand what you mean by that comment, but there are more tools than I am 6'4 225, throw hard, and ran through ppl at NDSU, those aren't the only tools a QB can have or needs.

If it's all about physical tools Sam Darnold would be Patrick Mahomes. There's more to it. One guy can play the position, one can't

Purdy can throw deep boss

That was a 4th down play that took it from the 50 to inside the 20. Smart dude. Brock has the headwork to know when to take chances that Jimmy G could never dream of.

lol...you guys are amazing.

Facts be damned.

He must have been thinking about some other under thrown late pass lol. 1st and 10 INT.

Who the hell is 49ers rumor? I'm not moving him unless it's stupid compensation.

Lol I understand play calling matters. An hour or so ago I wasn't sure you did because you made it seem like Brock needed a great play caller as if players like Josh or Herbert doesn't.

The fact that our play caller does scheme WRs open furthers my point that he doesn't need all stars around him. His coach will get them open. Now I'm not saying Brock could go to battle with the likes of Jakobi Myers or Kendrick Bourne but he doesn't need all stars with Kyle. At least not a team full of them

I'm saying Brock currently has an amazing play caller while the others don't and they're still putting up insane numbers and are the main reason they win games…we were winning games with Jimmy before he got hurt all the same.

Why can't we win games with Trey Lance?

We had major injuries in the Cardinal game. The Bears game he wasn't the only one who played poorly. Deebo doesn't fumble, we win. The Seahawks game we were driving. In short, it's (site decorum) to say, "We can't win with Lance" as there hasn't been a reasonable sample size to know.

In the two losses Lance has been our leading rusher. Both games were filled with bad penalties in key moments of the game as well that had nothing to do with Trey.

Just because he didn't go out there and play perfect in those games doesn't mean he hurt the team to the point they lost the game. Yes there were mistakes but when the whole narrative is "he just can't lose the game for them and the rest of the team will put him on their back" and the rest of the team has off days then it shouldn't go back to the kid for blame.

Yet here we are and a lot seem to have forgotten or overlooked what he did in the games we lost. But at the same time we have people downplaying the Houston win because the defense played well and Trey didn't play a perfect game from start to finish.

This is when you know people are irrational on the kid.

The lowest I'm taking is the 33rd pick from Houston if they're stupid enough to do this move now and risk it all for Purdy to be 100% and Darnold not to suck.

This way we have the ability to climb into the first round for a 5th round option on someone.

Yeah, we know your stance. Just waiting to hear any new news leading up until Thursday. Where you going to be, the Zone? Don't know who 49ers rumor is, maybe just the just the latest going around the grape vine.

Because turnovers resulting in a lost touchdown change the entire dynamic of the game.

If you understood what I meant why are you asking? Trey has arm strength and the ability to threaten on the ground that Brock can't touch. That's a fact. Deal with it.

At the same time, Brock clearly has the other elements of great quarterbacking Trey has yet to show. And those are more important. But if Brock had Trey's arm strength and mobility, he'd be on his way to a gold jacket.

It's not nearly enough if it's pre-June 1st. Hell, it's not enough if it's pre-training camp. We need to see what we have with him first. Otherwise we're risking making a huge mistake.
