Who the hell is 49ers rumor? I'm not moving him unless it's stupid compensation.

It's not nearly enough if it's pre-June 1st. Hell, it's not enough if it's pre-training camp. We need to see what we have with him first. Otherwise we're risking making a huge mistake.

It'd be ideal to wait a year or two, because we just don't know if Brock is going to be ready to start the season. And, if we trade him this draft and Brock isn't ready, all we'll have is Sam and maybe a vet or late pick heading into the season. Bit risky.

Wait a year or two. We'll get more value if he plays and is fully healthy. Plus, if we trade him this draft, all we'll have is Darnold and maybe a vet and late pick entering the season, if Brock isn't ready day one. Big risk to take.

None of this can be true. Poster Charlie Sheen is the real insider and expert. I dismiss anything that MM says as biased uninformed fluff coming from someone with no experience, history with the team, or access to knowledge as to what happens behind the scenes.

John Lynch has been incredibly consistent that they take calls on all players. I said this earlier that we probably get calls about Bosa. Doesn't mean we are moving him.

I understand what you mean by that comment, but there are more tools than I am 6'4 225, throw hard, and ran through ppl at NDSU, those aren't the only tools a QB can have or needs.

If it's all about physical tools Sam Darnold would be Patrick Mahomes. There's more to it. One guy can play the position, one can't

Darnold isn't as physically gifted as Mahomes. But yes, physical tools are less important than mental tools. But some physical tools are necessary to be great. There will never be a Chad Pennington in the Hall of Fame. You can be good without physical tools. You can't be great without at least decent physical tools. But it's easier to be go from good to great if you do have better than average physical tools.

The thing with Brock is he DOES have some better than average physical tools. His arm angles, his off-platform throwing, his better than average mobility in the pocket. Those are all physical tools, and they're half of why he's better than Jimmy. Still, I'll die on the hill that if he had Trey's arm strength and ability to threaten on the ground, he'd be in that group of young guys we all know are going into the Hall of Fame.

Probably, eventually he get's moved. But, probably not this draft. Even, though I wouldn't be shocked by anything John and Kyle do, with Trey.

And it's not just about Lance himself. It's like all these guys forgot that we finished the season with Josh Johnson playing crucial snaps in the NFCCG. Darnold wasn't brought in to replace Lance. He was brought in to replace Johnson, and if he does replace Lance (or Brock), that's just a bonus.
