John Lynch has been incredibly consistent that they take calls on all players. I said this earlier that we probably get calls about Bosa. Doesn't mean we are moving him.

Probably, eventually he get's moved. But, probably not this draft. Even, though I wouldn't be shocked by anything John and Kyle do, with Trey.

While the coaching staff has seen more of Lance than any of us I do believe they are curious to the possibilities that his potential could achieve with this roster when they just saw what a guy with far less physical attributes was able to accomplish. And I don't think he will be moved this year cause they will give him that opportunity to either knock off the rust or solidify the reason to move off of him.

Not this yr imo. There's so many questions marks at the position

fun fact…we've had only two QBs play back to back full seasons as QB1 since 2000. Garcia for 2000-2002 and Kap 2013-2014. Lol that's insane…we go through QBs like water and none of these dudes are Cal Ripken Jr.

And it's not just about Lance himself. It's like all these guys forgot that we finished the season with Josh Johnson playing crucial snaps in the NFCCG. Darnold wasn't brought in to replace Lance. He was brought in to replace Johnson, and if he does replace Lance (or Brock), that's just a bonus.

This is the biggest thing to me...how can we just watch our season end the way it did and make a move to remove one of the few known guys we have at the position now?

I just can't wrap my head around the fact that we think THAT little of the kid after taking him #3 overall with that type of tradeup to basically pushing him out the door 2 years later when the plan was to sit him as a rookie anyways.

I know people brought up Trey practicing poorly but once again - all the practice was mostly as a rookie with the bad finger and we actually saw his practice stuff leak and he was dealing and making big time throws.

They wanna dump him that bad given everything else? I dunno...kind of feels like someone should lose their job for their evaluation being so damn poor on Trey that they took someone who they're so quick to move on from.

That's what I'm thinking. GMs may think the 49ers love Brock, which they do, so that means Lance could be available. And what better time to trade for Lance than now, when his value is low. Better than waiting to see if he shows promise preseason and weeks 1-4, for example, then at that point the value for a good young QB prospect is multiple day1/2 picks.

im not super confident in Trey like some here are but I do think it would be reckless to trade him for anything Short of what we want. Last thing we need is for darnold to get hurt and Purdys recovered delayed. Lol

I don't think Trey should be traded during the draft unless it's what we desire, which I think will be a lot.

We need to trade up in this draft and find our RT and a new edge rusher to team with Bosa.

Haha him and Barrows (who also said a trade isn't likely) don't get paid in clicks…all those 49er content creators out there are the equivalent of use car salesman. Some of that stuff is entertaining, most of it is just opinions and I know a guy that knows a guy s**t. How hot take can I get for engagements.

We probably will trade up since I doubt 11 players make this roster. But I also don't think the 49ers will give us any reason to pay attention to the draft for the first 2 rounds.
