No excuses can be made to spend this much on a player and then cavalierly dismiss him because you have a 7th round limited yet experienced QB you THINK you may have a CHANCE to beat Mahomes with.
The only way this thing works for me is if Brock gets the job and wins it ALL. That happens then I don't care what we spent on Trey because the Super Bowl will fix all. What I do not want is another Jimmy G redux after what we spent on Trey. Facing Mahomes will not cut it for me. We have to BEAT HIM!!
This is where I am at with all of this. I don't want another system QB with a limited ceiling that is only good enough to make the playoffs and not win it all. To me, Brock still has a lot to prove, and I think it is fair to question if he is truly the right QB for the next 10 to 15 years.
You do realize the guy we invested three 1st picks in is the one who hasn't proven s**t and falls so far right into the bust category.
Lol… someone says Brock has more to prove and everyone gets their panties in a bunch.
Someone says Trey is a bust, should play in the XFL, or he doesn't deserve to be QB4 and almost no one bats an eye.
