Sometimes this place reads like a kindergarten. It's the middle of June. Two of our three main quarterbacks have had injury problems and the third needs to settle in. Maybe wait until the preseasons till we throw comments like bust and suck around?

And even then we'll need a weather report. Plus snap count chart to see who was playing with whom.

We've been over this... context only applies to Jimmy, Brock, and Sam.

For Trey its "excusarama"

Picture the opposite. Trey went 8-0 last year winning two play off games before getting injured putting up 32 plus pts per game. Could you imagine the hype? There would be very few doubters in that scenario. I wish we saw flashes like that from Trey, I've wanted him to be that good. Brock is getting the unreasonable doubt here.

But did you not see the 'almost INTs' Purdy threw? He's a weak armed dink and dunker. Can't win games or SB with that. He'll never be a top tier QB.

Or so I've heard…

The best poster on the Webzone (we all know who that is) called him a "glorified Gardner Minshew/Nick Foles"

That's a bit of an insult to Nick Foles who won a Super Bowl.
Foles > Hurts. Eagles making a huge mistake

We NEED a guy that can do this. He's available for a TEs salary

But can he make it 11 v 11? That's how you surpass the measly 32 pts per game we've been putting up

I mean he's no Tyler Heinicke

No wonder they tried to trade for RW. trying to right the wrong.

The dumb comparisons are one thing… the conclusion or logical end point of the comparisons is even worse.

Brock might not end up being the guy, but to think there's a solid argument to go in a different direction right now with the alternative options we have (which is the logical endpoint of these arguments) is absurd.

Who needs 11 on 11 and 30+ ppg when we have a QB that can wow us like that? Brock will NEVER be able to that!!

Foles is available so they still have a chance. Time to kick Hurts out and get a guy that has actually won a SB
Kittle has never been good at hiding how he really feels when tip toeing around tough questions. Everyone and their mother could tell he wasn't comfortable with Lance taking over for Jimmy last year.

Thoroughly enjoying his commentary on Lance this off-season though. It's night and day difference really.

Before, the impression seemed very clear that he didn't feel Lance was ready. There just wasn't any sense of confidence or belief, as much as Kittle tried to play off a neutral stance.

It's nice to now see a pretty significant sense of confidence in Trey now. Like all of us, we can't deny he needs reps to hone in on certain situational experiences he needs, but I think he has a bright future ahead of him still.

ya I also heard about his crappy azz performances in those almost monsoon games as well... he's got a high ceiling just needs a chance and more reps

Like it. I wish Kittle posted here.

I think Trey needs as many reps as possible in the pre-season. Hopefully Brock continues to ball out, but if he fades, hopefully the reps in TC and pre-season will give Trey the ability to come in firing hot.

I think it's funny how people dogging Trey love to downplay the Chicago weather but at the same time have no problem overlooking the fact that arguably Brock's worst performance(as in bad throws without people hitting him or being in his face) was early on in the Seattle game when the rain was coming down and yet nowhere close to what it was in Chicago.

There is a reason those mud games are ugly. You can easily make a case why Brock should be starting over Trey without laughing off the Chicago weather.

ya'll still talking about the weather from however many months ago
finally, I'm not the only one who's saying his lack of pass attempts in highschool & college is wild. That matters experience wise when you're this inexperienced. Anyways, I just thought it was funny that I finally saw someone point this out too. Lol

"He played in a run-heavy offense in high school, where he attempted 20 passes in a game just once," Sikkema wrote of Lance. "He then got only one year as a starter at North Dakota State in his entire college career. He backed up Jimmy Garoppolo in 2021, then played just two games as a starter in 2022 before suffering a season-ending ankle injury. There's a ton of promise to him, but we have to see it this summer."

let's hope he has a great camp!
