Yeah he's not a straight up statue but for the most part his "Mobility" is a negative compared to the rest of the league.
pretty sure you would be amazed if that were Lance

Yeah you're right Lance and his laser rocket arm and 4.5 speed at 230lbs wouldn't have done any better there....

hopefully Lance doesn't do this

or throws like this

Ahhhh,...the highlights!!

If only we could magically fastforward through the lowlights from game to game, there'd be no need to find another QB for 10+ years. Unfortunately, it doesn't work like that. He gets pretty inconsistent the moment you begin asking him for more in the offense. The New Orleans game from 2019 was obviously an exception to this general rule; you have to give him credit for games like that. But otherwise, this is how it has gone. That's why the kid is here.

when has a player entering the draft don't get praised?

all players tend to be the smartest, strongest one of kind player leading up to the draft. I don't fall for that rhetoric anymore.

He doesn't need to prove he can play right now, he's the future.

But they didn't say Lawrence, Wilson, Jones, Fields were the smartest....the majority said it was Lance (football IQ) after speaking with him and having him on the white board. Plenty of reports back it up. They didn't have to lie about it.

So no players don't all tend to be the best at something every year...there's a reason SF spent 3 1sts on him. There's a reason that other teams had him high on their draft board. Chris Ballard had their "blue card" for only two players in the 1st rd on their draft board. Devonte Smith and Trey. Ballard I would say is pretty good at evaluating, no?

He has to get better just like every player and you do that by playing...be different if we had a legit stud QB ahead of him. We don't we have a middle of the pack starter.
hey i've been watching football a long time.. and over that time.. i just don't beleive the hype until i see it. nothing on you. That's just me.

also, Anything spent on a player doesn't determine they are great or will be great.

Yeah I mean let's cut the s**t lol. Jimmy isn't Joe Flacco but he's most certainly not some mobile QB throwing a couple subpar escapes from the pocket isn't changing that narrative. He's a negative in that aspect.

I can show Andy Dalton and Goff doing the same s**t. No one is praising them for their athletic ability.

Even Aaron Rodgers makes bad throws...and so will Trey.

With Lance not facing anything close to a NFL defense i hope he doesn't either

As for the INT, Lance threw an INT already in practice with no pressure ... remember the back lash lol.i could give a rats what they do in practice

but my point holds true.. you are already amazed in Lance before he even stepped on the field

Context is everything. No one is saying every QB in history has been perfect and Jimmy is not. You are being told, however, that for a guy that doesnt bring much extra to an offense, he's too inconsistent.

Again tho, context. The tweet said he'll have to get those horrible throws out of his game. The pass was not only an INT,...it was way behind an open WR. The kind of INT matters and makes a huge difference.

But even then,..the context was for horrible throws like that to disappear....not that he or his competition can never throw INTs in practice before training camp even opens,....lol.

He already has. Won't start another regular season game -- guaranteed.

You can't guarantee something you have zero control over. haha

never said he wouldn't? Jimmy made more than people like to admit though.

And it's fine... there's nothing wrong with realizing Jimmy just isn't as good as people in here want him to be. He's a okay starter...Lance isn't gonna have to beat out some pro-bowler.

I don't know. To me, both that INT and the one in the other clip look like he was expecting Kittle to stop/stay where he threw it. No way to know for sure without being on the coaching staff.

What the one on one drill? Surely that's that the INT you're referring too?

I remember Jimmy throwing 5 consecutive INTS in practice, you gotta try to do that lol.

No, I'm not amazed with Jimmy G. I don't think Lance has to be an all-star to get results much like Jimmy did...unless if his mechanics are trash or he's completely clueless with the playbook, having him start at some point this yr is the BEST way for him to develop, I have stated many times.

i was replying to NY comments of "no throws like this". The throw was high and Lance has history of throwing high. From what i can remember his OTA INT was high

With you, NY and Co.. not sure why you need to defend Lance. If Jimmy is jimmy, then you will see Lance

I'm not defending him...that's your problem with this whole debate.

I think Lance is more talented then Jimmy, I think Jimmy is an avg starting QB in the league that happens to play on a great team with a great coach. I do NOT think having Lance sit all year is the best way for him to develop as a QB. IMO Lance will start at some point this yr my best guess is by the bye week.

I'd term it dispelling myths,...not defending. But I agree with the above.
