huh? those comments are well known.

Warner on Trey...

Ward on Purdy...

49ers defenders didn't have to urge Brock Purdy to take more chances in practice

That is from his rookie season andnit says he corrected it. This is 2023, not the same.

The 2 near INTs was taking a risk. Bad risks, but he let them go

there was also a couple of hesitations on wide open plays. like the play he sailed the check down.

Fred Warner didn't say make more bad decisions, he said take more risks. Those passes weren't risky aggressive passes, they were just bad reads / decisions.

IMO much different. He meant don't turn down passes to sky check downs in the flat.
I hope Trey somehow kicks ass tomorrow after all that dissin' lol (positive thoughts 🌟) loolol
Give him at least half game tomorrow as he needs the game reps badly. Let it rip young one!

It just meant he had a terrible game. He turned down so many wide open chunk play opportunities and still managed to put the ball in harms way like 3 times.

Lmao are we supposed to talk about his sophomore year that he didn't have? This guy is sharp….

when your own coach has publically said he wants you to be more aggressive, I think it's safe to say he hasnt corrected it. When we just watched a game where he was clearly not aggressive and when he attempted it, it was horrific.

Lmao exactly… but apparently I'm the stupid one. This guy got all upset when I posted that I wasn't even sure if it was correctable, something I clearly voiced as my opinion, not a fact.

some people can't handle that we aren't all created equal and some things we can't fix about ourselves. I'm not an amazing athlete like lebron, boo hoo. Some people aren't born with the super aggressive/competitive gene, its doesn't mean someone can't be a good qb. It's just a different style.

Trey knows that tomorrow is his moment of truth, his leash is getting shorter so he'll get there and will give everything he got. Wether it's true or not that his leash is getting shorter, I think Trey's mindset will be like do or die. So I'm excited to see him tomorrow looking like a different Trey. C'mon Trey, you got this!

This

I have thought the same thing since the Alex Smith days....I want young QBs to sling it...especially in preseason....just chuck it. Part of development is trimming things back to make sure they are in time.

Trey just had a whole week of bashing, and very publicly had a detailed explanation of what he failed at.

If he has some dog in him, we are going to get a bounce back.

Best thing about Trey is he should not have to be perfect to be functional. He has the arm to overcome issues in timing...dude does not have to be perfect to beat the defense.
