Why would anyone "strongly dislike" Lance or anyone on the team? I can see not believing in someone, but strongly dislike?
However I do believe, despite how unreasonable it is, there are people here who strongly dislike him.
Three reasons
1. they are insecure and don't want anyone to threaten the guy they like
2. They need to be right and thus have dug in deep
3. They can't stand the people who support Trey similarly to the way they support their guy.
In summary… it's all about them
Worst analysis I've ever seen since I started posting here in 2006.
How about people are upset because we gave up THREE first rounders for someone who is playing like a mid-round pick, is quite likely to be QB3, and has no value in the trade market?
Still falls under my summary clause but thanks. You can hate JL and MS but to hate Trey for something he had no control over says… it's about those people and not Trey.
thanks
So in essence you can say Trey Lance can do no wrong and that it's someone else's fault for Trey looking so timid and indecisive?? People were so quick to say for damn sure that they know what we have in Darnold without context. And I don't wanna take anything away from Trey Lance yesterday cause he played great, but add context to that on why he played great.
With your summary would you say you are innocent in your three reasons??
first, I'm not innocent, we are all people with bias. I also am not a supporter of Trey right now. Im rooting for him and hope he develops but he is at risk of getting washed out of the league unless he can learn to play without needing to be a starter.
If you go back a few pages you'll see me saying Trey played well but only against prevent defense at the end of the game and looked not good before that. He's not ready, that's obvious and I'm not an advocate of playing him in hopes that he develops.
Finally I'm speaking to people hating Trey overall and tearing down his success and failures. Just as the same with people hating on Purdys success and failures. Not speaking to the people who are rooting for him but know he's not ready.
Since when does a prevent defense have tight coverage like this? Oh, and there are five men rushing. This is a blitz.
So you believe prevent defense is when the defense blitzes and plays tight coverage. Gotcha.
(see why I say unreasonable, people?)
Looks like a soft zone to me
How on earth do you look at that and think it's zone?
Because football.
THAT was just a very good throw... PLAIN N SIMPLE.
