now we have two QBs seeing ghost.

Sam Darnold did this when he "saw ghosts" v NE

11-of-32 for a career-low 86 yards, was sacked once for a loss of 13 yards and tied a career-high with four interceptions

Trey Lance clearly improves the longer he plays

Sam brought Casper with him.

I agree with the video, Trey just doesn't seem to read it fast enough. What I do think though is that's the type of film he needs, he needs to experience it in a game, get torn to shreds by Kyle and Griese in the film room and then come back and hit them next week.

There was also clearly some happy feet likely caused by the O-Line Vs Raiders.

I'm still confident that given the opportunity Trey can develop into a good QB, when or where that happens is certainly up in the air.
it's pretty funny to see some here say "but...but...but Sam is in year 6 he cant improve" but turn around and use Steve Young as an example for Trey's potential long-term improvement. look im a Sam hater but i also consider his previous situations were less than ideal and still believe he could improve.
Loving all of the Brandon Allen and Sam Darnold uber-excitement lately.

who's excited? not discussing their possibility of being on the 2023 roster is pure ignorance.

Some here have been really, really excited about both players lately. Just sift through the pages.

I just cant seem find the same excitement for them in their own threads.

Allen is not going to be on the 53 man roster. They aren't carrying 4 QB's. I think the real ignorance is some people out there thinking they will cut Trey or trade him for like a 4th or 5th.

I doubt they get rid of lance this season, and our history would suggest we'll need all three QBs anyway.

Peter king hasn't been right for some time now. Dude just needs to call it a day.

Unless they get anything worthwhile for Lance, there's absolutely no point in moving off him. Keep all 3 and go play some football. It's a long year and weird s**t always happens with this team, especially at QB.

If he doesn't deserve a roster spot then he should get one.

I don't see how he doesn't deserve one. I mean if Sam can play that awful for years a ton of QBs deserve a spot lol.

if there's one thing we've learned with this team is that you should never say never.

Cutting him is about as ridiculous as it comes…they save no money. Getting some late comp pick is pointless all the same.

Allen and his 4 passing attempts in two preseason games lol. Dude isn't making the roster . Kyle would love to have him back on the PS and will sing his praises so he doesn't choose to go elsewhere.

Seems like a lot of teams would take Allen as a Backup QB. Can't see him surviving to PS, but it would be great if he does.

I think if the team can't retain Darnold, Trey would be a nice backup to keep around for a few years if there's a mutual desire there. Keep him in the system, let Trey develop here if we can keep him at a fair price.

"Sam still could've gone other places for a lot more money. For him to come here—a huge leap of faith. He had no idea if he was coming for the one, two, or three job."

Just saw this, which I think is another reason why we may not be able to keep Sam. If he plays well here, some are going to change their minds on him and think he can do something with their team. Would he turn down more money and another shot at QB1 just to stay here? He wasn't really gonna get that from us or anyone else this year, but if he changed minds, he might next year (kind of like Jameis Winston, another turnover machine, did)

Good I don't want him unless he is QB3.

i dont believe Trey would ever get cut. however i do believe there's like a 10% chance he could be moved if the opportunity arises if Trey cant supplant Sam. $10M for QB3 is a lot of money. and even if the savings is half that, i could still see the team explore the option. again, $10M for QB3.

Peter King is absolutely correct

Totally!!!!

Move on already!!! But I doubt they will this season.

Why move on so soon? You were more than okay with mediocre Jimmy for 5 years.

Peter King questions if Lance will be in NFL five years from now

different vid than the earlier one I posted.... Peter King hears a lot of shiz, these comments are based on his discussions with ShannaLynch.... been saying same on here for over a year, many will be shocked when TL doesn't play out his rookie contract

You're the same "QB expert" that said Jimmy was a top 5 QB in the NFL.

…clearly still sulking about it too.

Let him get his daily dose of attention, he obviously needs it very badly.
