No the scoring drives do which Trey has been much better than Darnold at also. Even in practices Trey has been much better in the move the ball periods. It took Darnold 5 drives to score points last game. Trey scored in 3 out of 4 including the last 3. In the 1st game he scored the only points.

1. They really don't think he is good and there is no hope to make him better, so they just want to get rid of him for anything now since they know they will get nothing better in the future.

How many practices have you been at that you can honestly judge the QB yourself??

And I like the way you are counting Trey's INT that bounced off the Raiders CB into Dwelley's arms for a TD, without giving any context. You really have me convinced that Trey is the other QB by giving me the stat sheet.

Anyone who watches the actual games and practices, knows anything about football and isn't strangely invested in Trey above the 49ers success can see that Darnold is clearly the better QB.

Which is why the 49ers jsut made Darnold QB2 and are "exploring all options" with Trey.

In two preseason games, Darnold completed 16 of 22 passes (72.7%) for 193 yards, also rushing three times for 18 yards and taking two sacks.

Through two preseason games, Lance has completed 22 of 33 passes (66.7%) for 285 yards, two TDs and one pick. He has taken four sacks and has rushed five times for zero yards.

I have zero faith this o-line can keep our QB's upright. No way I trade him until the offseason.

Not surprised about Darnold getting QB2, but very surprised they're giving up completely on Lance now. What exactly is their plan for next year if Darnold doesn't come back?

I bought myself and my 5 year old son Lance jerseys last year. I'm gonna inquire with a professional to see if I can get the names changed to Garcia. What a waste of $180 apparently

Trey is still AT LEAST two years away from being anywhere close to NFL ready, yet people want to "see what we have in him".

Ya know, I've hated the Lance pick from day 1 but I'm conflicted because I can see the potential at times. Idk

I feel ZERO pity for someone that is bound to make $9 million.

You should be feeling bad for Purdy. He's making just under a mill and has done wonders for the 49ers!!! And his contract can't even be touched till next season.

I wouldn't say they're giving up on him. They may still keep him.
