Completely agree with all of this. Especially the bold. If I wasn't a fan of Purdy I'd be beyond pissed about this. Hopefully Purdy is everything they think he is

Better to do this now before the season starts. That way fans can grieve and whatnot and move on. I expect to hear that Nick Bosa will be signed within 24-48 hours. Just a guess.

Sam Darnold is not better than Trey Lance. I love Kyle and John but I don't agree with this. Until they win a SB we are still allowed to question them and be skeptical.

Agreed they made the biggest trade in franchise history and royalty f**ked it up. I don't want Kyle fired or anything, but how do they get a pass for this? The process was dog s**t. From moving up and not even knowing who they would take. Passing on one of the highest ranked recruits in college history at QB, to making Lance a scout QB his whole rookie yr (which almost NEVER happens regardless of anything), to giving him 31 snaps last yr and then forcing him to split snaps with a guy that's been a turd in the NFL for half a decade…who so happens to have over 50 starts under his belt (no s**t he looks like he could be a good backup).

They lucked into Brock, who we have no f**king clue what he really is long-term. We're one bad snap away from counting on Sam Darnold to lead SF to the promise land? Lol that's not a SB team imo.

at this point just move him and let him actually have a chance to play football. I hope he balls out and they regret it.

Dude will be good in 5 years IF he decides to be.

Trade talks are probably already under way.

My guess is Atlanta is getting him for a conditional 2nd rounder.

The piss poor mishandling of this situation, is absolutely ridiculous. I feel bad for the kid. This FO and coaching staff has now literally given themselves this year or bust. They're gonna be gone sooner rather than later and KS will always have the tag that he couldn't get the job done when it mattered.

They will first announce Trey is gone, then immediately afterwards announce Bosa has signed. Get people to forget that Trey is gone.

Was very wrong on the idea that he wouldn't get traded this year. It is what it is. I just hope we know what we're doing.

I get the feeling we really want that roster spot for someone else. And perhaps they're willing to eat the contract for the few extra million to do things with Bosa or something, IDK.
