The best part about Trey getting traded is seeing Trey stans finally gone.
Trade TL before the cut down so Brandon Allen can be QB3, he has earned it.
The team will save $9M over the next two years if he's traded, since it's post June 1.

From moving up and not even knowing who they would take. Passing on one of the highest ranked recruits in college history at QB, to making Lance a scout QB his whole rookie yr (which almost NEVER happens regardless of anything), to giving him 31 snaps last yr and then forcing him to split snaps with a guy that's been a turd in the NFL for half a decade…who so happens to have over 50 starts under his belt (no s**t he looks like he could be a good backup).

They lucked into Brock, who we have no f**king clue what he really is long-term. We're one bad snap away from counting on Sam Darnold to lead SF to the promise land? Lol that's not a SB team imo.

at this point just move him and let him actually have a chance to play football. I hope he balls out and they regret it.

THIS 100%

Yeah feels like they really need that money. Might be what is holding up the Bosa signing.

Everyone takes it all so personal.

It's a swing and a miss. It happens, it's a giant miss, but the regime has so many giant hits, that they don't suffer as most franchises would from such a big miss.

I`m not upset about it, I believe we got the real deal and a future franchise QB with Brock. However we got here, doesn't matter anymore, can't go back.

I thought we were basically good with Jimmy but should have drafted a 2nd or 3rd round guy to push em. We went for the fences, came up way short, but hit a bunch of singles and doubles at all our other at bats so we're going to be okay.

Can't can a regime who brought in

Kittle - 5th rd
Warner - 3rd rd
Deebo - 2nd rd
Greenlaw - 5th rd
Hufanga - 5th rd
Purdy - 7th round
ELijah Mitchell - 6th rd
Juauan J - 7thd rd
CMC trade

Trey, our biggest miss, and we're still a title contender.

It's pretty remarkable how strong the roster is despite the staggering number of wasted draft resources.

But you don't win anything.

You got beef with people on here, but what did that guy do to you? He broke his ankle running plays for the coach. Lost his job, and put on a good face through the whole thing.

You posting stuff like that just reflects poorly on you.

I don't think that's what is holding up the bosa contract cause his base salary should be less this year and next, after he signs the extension.

we need the money for the final roster and practice squad though. I was watching a video with Lombardi about this, thay we need bosa to sign his contract to help us afford that stuff (it's not the top 51 anymore once final roster cutdown, so more salaries hit the books).
I REALLY liked Trey in the draft. I was PUMPED when he was the selection. I was extremely hopeful for his future until I saw him start preseason game 1 and by the end of the 3rd series the game was turned off and I accepted that Trey was unlikely to ever play meaningful football for the 49ers, or anyone else for that matter.
Here's my take. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Niners brass thought they were drafting a gazelle in Trey. Somebody that could operate in the pocket, have excellent accuracy and take off if needed.

When Trey arrived in camp, he was much slower than the Niners thought. This was the beginning of the end for Trey. The Niners knew right away they botched the pick. Trey simply doesn't have the footwork to excel in Kyle's offense. He's big, lumbering, needs time to read defenses, excels at the intermediate/long game and struggles at the short timing based game that Kyle demands.

This is not to say he won't be a good QB tho! If he gets traded to a team with a really good OL that runs a more traditional offense, he may just light it up. But make no mistake, he is NOT a good fit for Kyle's offense. They don't want to develop him...it's obvious.

Oh well, just move on and look ahead. This is not a proud day in Niner land but come on, we all knew this day would come right?
Best better hope Brock stays healthy and bad Sam doesn't show up.
I HOPE one of these reporters ASK Kyle and Shanahan if they stand tall for this f**k up.
If they aknowledge that they did the worst job imaginable possible with this trade and the handling of the whole TL5 situation.
I refuse to believe this. WOW
