Big if, but potential Franchise QB Niner fans have been waiting for. Man I soo excited.

Was also a fan of Fields, I think his knock was not progressing his reads fast enough. And the whole epilepsy thing. Concussions would be terrifying.

God, I hope we can set the bar higher than Cam Newton. That guy has been a joke most of his career, even when he won the MVP. Another guy who used his physicality to pound out some tough yards on the ground but was never much of a passer. No thanks

This. I want an elite passer, a guy that defenses will be absolutely terrified to blitz because they know he'll light them up. Let Lance develop into that guy and we're good.

They didn't have to move up for Jones and they likely knew that or they could have moved to 6 or something. But they went to 3, Mac went 15.

he is Mahomes with just 1 yr of college ball under his belt. Jimmy could start for another 2 yrs, maybe longer. Played first football at age 14, so 4 yrs hi school and then one yr at small school conference....then one game last season. That's it.

he was my favorite athlete, but knew he had 1-2 yrs of learning before playing...unless JG gets injured. Then that would be interesting.

What if Jimmy wins the superbowl this season? Then what?

Depends on three things:

1) Does Lance look good?

2) What is the cap position?

3) What kind of offers do you get for Jimmy?

Sorry I disagree. If a QB gets you to two SB's in 4 years, two injured you don't just give him up. At that point you ride out his contract and know you have someone sitting behind him in case he gets injured. If he ends up being legit consistently and stops going down you have trade bait in Lance. If Jimmy gets injured you have legit backup, or your new starter.

I you watch the presser posted a few pages back Kyle addresses this type of situation with the common sense answer. If someone makes you a good enough offer, almost anyone is expendable.

This isn't going to happen but if someone offered three 1sts for Jimmy next year and Lance is looking really good, I don't see how you can pass it up. The point is that "it depends" is the right answer when looking this far out.

Kyle just said the media folks who claimed to know anything were all full of sh*t. Everything aside from the media's own self-referential BS points to Kyle's statement being true. Why persist in choosing to believe what looks like nonsense?

Did you watch the presser? Specifically, where Kyle explained how the narrative of preferring Jones took off and he didn't bother to correct it because why would he bother? Unless you think Kyle is a bold faced liar, you may want to reassess your understanding of the situation.

Fired up for this dude!

Supposedly he is great at the play fake from under center and with his running ability... I can't wait to see what Kyle dials up for Trey and the dynamic skill players he has!
