QB that knows the system in case they get down to their #3 yet again. Also cutting him doesn't really save them a whole lot. Either they get something of actual value back or they hold on to him as insurance.

Trey could have shown out and kicked butt! He didn't. He looked pretty bad. He showed he still isn't ready. Considering he was one of the rawest prospects ever, nobody should be too surprised. His injuries derailed his development. No one to blame. Just happened.

I wonder how much is draft 'groupthink'. Seemed ol Z Wilson did a throw at pro day, and went rocketing up the boards, and everyone goes along with it. No one wants to be the one guy saying, wait a sec, this dude should be a round 3, not pick 2.
