i can almost guarantee that whatever Trey knows and shares, Kyle will use to his advantage when they play the Cowboys. lol McCarthy

Not that it matters but I would be $$$ he'll be better than Darnold.

What would you like to bet and what are the terms.

Wish him well and I hope he succeeds….Brock is the dude and I hope he turns into Montana like everyone thinks

He better turn into Montana.

Kyle better be right about Brock with a 7-game sample size.

Kyle better be right about Trey with a 3-game sample size.

Shanahan has to be right TWICE. And with his judgment on QBs I have my doubts if he can pull that off.

Wrong. Kyle just needs to be right about Brock. Not sure if you been under a rock but naming Trey QB#3 was Kyle already admitting he was wrong about Trey. Most coaches would've just named Trey #2 and move on with Brock and try to trade Trey later on.

Well might as well get drunk now. I hope Allen shows up big tonight just so we know there's good QB depth. God know we're gonna need it with the current oline depth.

Or the starters could all stay healthy all season and build on to their top 10 performance last season.

When's the last time that happened with this team?

When did we rely on depth on the o line last season?

Are you serious joking? Or did you watch the games on the radio?

Imagine if Dak gets hurt and Trey knocks out the Niners in the playoffs? Kyle and John would be done. I mean it is a real possibility the Niners and Cowboys could meet in the playoffs again. That would be a nightmare scenario if that ever happened.

Not worried one bit

Gonna be a real awkward QB room in Dallas similar to Lance+Garroppolo.

Dak has never probably felt more secure in his job than now. Lol

the funny thing is I always said that I thought lances ceiling was a dak type player.

Dallas fans seem to believe the writing is on the wall for Dak. Jerry Jones with a splash move is bound to stir up some s**t in Dallas.

I stand by my belief that it was stupid to trade him, and I am someone who isnt even one of the 2 or 3 posters on this board who believes Trey WILL be great.

ESPN already has Trey at 3rd on the depth chart ahead of Will Grier.

Well cowboys are now on the hook for about $6M for Lance over the next two seasons. So they're not cutting him but he will be 3rd.

I swear people in this thread acting like $6M over 2 years is some astronomical number.

No someone BS'd and said it was for a 1st and 3rd...to usually get a true sense of what is going on.. usually wait until the initial shock is over and facts get out.

It starts here.

I wonder if he plays tomorrow or is it too soon?
It's too bad they couldn't get a 5th rounder for him.

I think its reasonable to say that Trey needs reps. He got progressively better as he played deeper into the game. Its too soon to give up on him and I don't understand why the team made this trade considering the injury issues both QBs have dealt with in the past.

I agree with some of what you said but if Brock is the guy then why keep Trey? He needs reps and won't be getting him here.
