I could see a situation where Dak is out for a long time and the season totally unravels and they let him play, that's all I got tho

Trey is not gonna play this season unless they get eliminated from the playoff.

Dallas fans are spazzes, they are already giving Dak the side eye. If he has a few games where he struggles, the pressure to play Lance will grow.

Trey would have just rotted on the bench if he stayed here. He's a good kid and deserves to get a shot somewhere.

I think Dallas just gonna use him for getting secrets on the niners because we'll probably end up seeing Dallas again. Dallas is loaded with talent to and a 4th rd pick is nothing for them.

He's going to ride the bench there as well

I rarely saw any hate with Fields and Jones. The media still makes excuses for Mac. I am talking about the media mostly.

Whatever your definition for hate is.. if you've applied it to Jones, you have to apply it to Trey and Jimmy the same. That's my only criticism.

Fans were mocking the idea of getting Mac, they mocked Trey before and after the selection, and we had years of mocking Jimmy.

I mocked the idea of Mac. You dont trade a huge amount of draft capital to replace Jimmy G with Jimmy Jr.
All about cap and nothing else kind of shocked. Just heard a second ago..
Feel for the kid, he should have been given more opportunities. I know that he didn't work out for us, but I still don't think he's trash, just couldn't get it to click in the very limited time that he had.

Good luck Trey, won't root for you on the Cowboys, but hope you get the chance at some point to show your stuff.

Wtf does Josh Johnson have to do with this discussion? Is the guy who filled in for Trent still on this roster? And how much did it affect the offense?

You like to argue, don't you 🤣 It's simple, the oline depth has been an issue, so much in fact that we got down to the 4th string QB last year (at the worst time) that was my point. Any normal fan knows that, so why is that statement so offensive to you?

You think there's been no issue with oline depth over the past few years? Guess we will all see soon enough.

Ah back to this because you have absolutely nothing to back up your claims. Here, I will answer my question for you. Everyone was worried about our depth last year also. McKivitz played 2 games at LT in place of TW and gave up 1 pressure and zero sacks in those games. Now he is our starting RT.

SWH, want to revisit our convo about this pick being a bust from like 2 days ago..

WHAT DONT YOU GET?! THEY CONTRIBUTE A LOT! Lmao dude you're out of your mind if you think paying a third stringer 5-10M is not a big deal. You're delusional when it comes to Lance.

5-10M is top of the market for a second stringer

what don't you understand about the cap? SF was paying damn near ALL of his cap this yr! That s**t is on the books regardless of whatever you're trying to toss out there. It's doesn't matter how mad you are about his cap hit. It's paid! Done nothing you can do about it.

next yr is next yr…there's a ton of stuff that can happen between now and then. Him being on this roster didn't hurt the cap or who they could or couldn't resign. Especially when you're cool spending $5.5M for a FB. My god dude they're spending MORE money on Dee Freak Ford right now!

Grow up with the you're delusional b******t. We're having a conversation and you take it to that crap because that's all you got for a rebuttal

Shanahan has no clue what a QB has. He was playing Lance over Purdy last season until Lance broke his ankle. So anyone that says Shanahan knows Lance sucks couldn't be more wrong. He has no clue.

It would have been too much pressure for Brock.

If you think the Trey Truthers are loud this couple of day, they would have been louder had Mr irrelevant rookie start over Trey on week 1 last year. No matter how well Brock played, the Trey Truthers would think Trey can do better. Kyle had to show everyone how bad Trey was. Kyle was ready to benched Trey anytime, but he didn't have to because Trey got hurt.

Kyle did the same back in 2017. Beathard beat the Giants, that was not a good time to benched Beathard for Jimmy. He had to wait one more week for Beathard to lose before benching Beathard.

What don't some understand, Kyle had to give him a shot last season. Lol he was very uncomfortable with it. The whole team was. There wasn't much confidence in lances ability as the starter. This is written in stone at this point. They would of moved off of him if he wasn't hurt eventually.

Weird... I remember arguing against many saying that Trey would've been the starter if he didn't hurt his finger over Jimmy.
