next yr is next yr…there's a ton of stuff that can happen between now and then. Him being on this roster didn't hurt the cap or who they could or couldn't resign. Especially when you're cool spending $5.5M for a FB. My god dude they're spending MORE money on Dee Freak Ford right now!

Grow up with the you're delusional b******t.

at the very least NY you can admit there is logic to trading Lance, right? I mean you and SWH were on me saying there is no logic. Team sees it very much different clearly, I was saying for weeks, if he falls to QB3, this may move quick as a trade, that happened..

YOU were saying a 7th round pick swap. Again, lets stop with the patting yourself on the back crap. I promise you Trey Lance would still be a 49er right now if all we could do was swap 7th rounders.

A weird way of answering his question. 'No' would be easier.

The term grasping at straws mean anything to you!!

Does a question mark?

Rhetorical!!!

LMAO the cowboys pay Dak $69M next year, Cooper Rush $2.5M and Lance $5.3M. Expensive qb room.

all for a one-and-done in the play-offs.

Shanahan has no clue what a QB has. He was playing Lance over Purdy last season until Lance broke his ankle. So anyone that says Shanahan knows Lance sucks couldn't be more wrong. He has no clue.

It would have been too much pressure for Brock.

If you think the Trey Truthers are loud this couple of day, they would have been louder had Mr irrelevant rookie start over Trey on week 1 last year. No matter how well Brock played, the Trey Truthers would think Trey can do better. Kyle had to show everyone how bad Trey was. Kyle was ready to benched Trey anytime, but he didn't have to because Trey got hurt.

Kyle did the same back in 2017. Beathard beat the Giants, that was not a good time to benched Beathard for Jimmy. He had to wait one more week for Beathard to lose before benching Beathard.

What don't some understand, Kyle had to give him a shot last season. Lol he was very uncomfortable with it. The whole team was. There wasn't much confidence in lances ability as the starter. This is written in stone at this point. They would of moved off of him if he wasn't hurt eventually.

How do you know that? So there wasn't a chance of him improving as the year went on and he got the reps where things can eventually slow down for him? After 1 start and a quarter you come up with that conclusion that he probably wouldn't improve?

He would improve, but he was so bad that it was unlikely he would improve enough and quick enough.
I think it's time to move this thread over to nfl threads

How's NY85 doing? I'm thinking about him. Good dude. No one deserved this

He's buying a Dallas jersey for Lance right now

Probably.

You guys are being so dumb. All NY wanted was for Lance to have a chance. He isnt a Lance super stan like you guys are trying to make him out to be.

Most of us wanted Lance to have a chance. His chance was the start of last season. Purdy playing great prevented them from being able to do it again this year. It just wouldn't have been fair to the other players on the team to sit the best QB. And then Lance not being able to win the 2nd QB job really ended things. It's unfortunate, but maybe he'll get his chance now in Dallas. Very unlikely to be this season, though. He'll, Dallas could flip him to another team next offsrason before he even plays one snap with them for all we know.

What a bunch of asshats. Steve said exactly what I was always pointing out as plain as day. It's sad that they need to make up stuff to make themselves feel better.

You predicted Brock would regress to the mean, not his mean, but the mean of all NFL qbs. No, he said he COULD.
You said he was not legitimate. No he didnt.
You got passed over Peter King predicting Brock would be good this year. Not sure what passed means, but why would NY not want Brock to be good?
You took offense to Brock's play last year being called elite. No he didnt

You wanted Trey to start over Brock. No he didnt.

One of your worst posts to date, Woo. Just wrong on every claim.

Ah back to this because you have absolutely nothing to back up your claims. Here, I will answer my question for you. Everyone was worried about our depth last year also. McKivitz played 2 games at LT in place of TW and gave up 1 pressure and zero sacks in those games. Now he is our starting RT.

Absolutely nothing to back it up with other than being down to the 4th string QB, who got knocked out of the game in less than a quarter of play, lol.

We'll see week 1 if you still think it's a non issue.

Poor Trey. Dude won't see reps in Dallas anytime soon, either. Dak is the guy there, and Trey ain't beating out Cooper Rush.

Dallas fans are spazzes, they are already giving Dak the side eye. If he has a few games where he struggles, the pressure to play Lance will grow.

would he even beat out cooper rush?

They've seen Cooper Rush, they know who Cooper Rush is. Trey is shiny and new.

I mocked the idea of Mac. You dont trade a huge amount of draft capital to replace Jimmy G with Jimmy Jr.

SWH, want to revisit our convo about this pick being a bust from like 2 days ago..

Nah I'm good. You dont get to pat yourself on the back after the fact. At the time, I even went as far as saying that if Trey's time ends, then you can call him a bust.

The dude that called him MVP tossing 40+ TDs this time last yr and talking about conditional late rd picks…now he wants a pat on the back. Hahaha

Lance could improve 100% from where he is now and he still isn't a competent nfl qb.

Why should they? Their job is to win. They win.
