I'm actually bummed it's Dallas cause I do think Trey is a good kid and wanted to root for him. I can't root for Dallas, so therefore I can't root for him.

im shocked the team sent him there cause that really exemplifies how little they think of him, conference rival. Especially when the bills (afc) made a similar offer

Lol, gonna disagree they sent him there because they didn't like him, dude. Lot goes on behind the scenes and I believe Lynch when he said he wanted to do what's best for Trey. All of his faults aside, Jerry treats his players as well as any owner in the league, if not better. I'm trying to decide if this is a move to get intel on us or if it's saying the writing is on the wall for Dak.

They save less then 1 million in cap space from the trade this season

Thats the exact amount bosa wanted
They still do. Last pick in draft is just a shot in dark.

It was just a few days ago when you commented on Brock not being legitimate.

You mocked King yesterday for his comment.

And the term regressing to the mean refers to a player regressing to their average play, Brock played to his mean last year.

And what is with Steve White Knoghting for you and lying about knowing the content of every post you have made? It is weird.

I am "white knighting" for NY because all offseason his and my statements have been repeatedly misrepresented by certain posters. I have said from day 1 that I have no idea if Trey Lance is going to be good or going to suck (and still believe this), yet was called a Trey fanboy and other names for simply wanting him to have a chance to prove it one way or the other.

but hindsight is 20/20

Mac jones is an asshat...i would have been ticked with him on the 49ers, i would much rather have taken the gamble with Trey and failed then to have taken Mac in hindsight.

I wanted Mac but at 12. This trade was flat out stupid lol.

The trade was flat out stupid. I too wanted Mac but like DS said, he is an asshat and I wouldn't have been able to root for him here either.

Okay I was wrong. They traded him. I can own being wrong

Why is this thread still in Niners Talk?

Page 114, Section 5, paragraph 2 of the Moderator Handbook states that the player thread shall remain in NinerTalk for 24 hours after news of the player being off the team.

In case FO change their minds?

Nah, so people don't post "where'd the xxx player thread go?" before they've seen the breaking news.
Trey is no longer here and you guys are still trashing him. Yeah it wasn't personal lol.

well, he'll definitely keep more of his money.

He never directly said any of the things Woo claimed he did. Period. How you interpreted his statements isnt my problem. I stand by the fact that I didnt spin a thing. Moving on.

Again the logical endpoints of his argument were clear. There wasn't anything to be interpreted there. That's why the arguments happened.

Same s**t as when Jimmy was restructured. Or when Darnold was signed and a competition announced. Or the leadup to today.

It's transparent. But yes, moving on.

Plus sending him to Buffalo behind Allen would be a career death sentence. No way he's ever be the starter there.

They haven't been misinterpreted, they've been purposely spun to get a rise out of you and others. Some here truly live for that, for whatever reason.

Mac was flat out excoriated on here, if we had drafted him the level of abuse would have been 10x what trey lance endured
I guess it lifts any awarkdness. That's good. All pressure moved to Brock.

Glad the soap opera is over. Much better for the locker room. Really wish we could have come up with a CB, OL or NT instead of a pick, but glad we got some kind of value. All the best to Trey, hope he is able to develop into a star.
