Dallas Cowboys QB Trey Lance Thread

Trey's Villian Arc starts now behind Dak and Cooper.

Hey, just got home, how's Trey doing against the Chargers --- oh, something happened --- just like the Truman show, he's out of the "dome" to Dallas. Time to change channels to something else rather than continue watching the Treyman Show.

Best of luck Trey. Good to know our 49er QB soap opera is over for the year.

I hope Cowboys fans like that "Trey Area" BS.

trade down for a 5th and a 7th

7th round is the new 5th round.

Good luck to Trey Lance, he's going to be a good QB. He has all the physical gifts to win a lot of games in the NFL, and his mental intangibles are developing nicely as long as he's healthy. Glad that Dallas gave us some draft compensation, and Scott Tolzien was a QB for the 49ers (I think) during the Harbaugh years - will be his QB coach in Dallas. He'll win some playoff games, I'm sure, once he's reached his full potential.

I just hope Purdy stays healthy. I Wish we had just one of those 3 Trey first rounders to have invested in the OLine this last draft. That was supposedly a really good offensive lineman draft class. Oh well.

Listened to the Lynch interview.....I think that non-answer is the entire story....

He was asked straight up if Trey requested a trade, and he said a lot of stuff that was not asked, and he most def did not say "no".

I,,,,Think.... Trey wanted to be traded, and he was with a quickness....

Only other thing that makes any sense is the money somehow effect re-signing Bosa....

That's what I was thinking too. I starting to believe that he wanted out and so they sent him to Dallas.

Imo he just wanted a fair chance to compete. Kyle made the decision before the last preseason game. Trey didn't get to play with the starters (more importantly Oline) this preseason.. where as Sam has been able to do it for two games.

After Kyle did that....what's the point to stick around?

He also confirmed Trey asked to be traded, and they gave him permission to look for a new opportunity.

Eh. No reason to be hard on the kid. He was obviously emotional about the decision and probably talked to family/friends who then talked to others. With modern social media things like that move fast.
