lol unless Dak and Cooper Rush get hurt, no

Yeah I know. Lol would be wild if that happened. Crazier stuff has happened though. Lol
does Trey even make the 53? Could be just trade and dump
Dak has a ridiculous 59 million dollar cap hit in 2024, and the presence of Lance gives Dallas some leverage in negotiations. here's the pft article link. just a thought.

LOL why would the Cowboys give up a 4th RD pick to just cut him a few days later?

What the Cowboys plan on doing is what the Niners should have done and that is develop him for the future. They will probally restructure his contract next year to make it more affordable. People forget he is only 23. There is no rush.
Trey didn't want to sit and develop.. Trey isn't going to get much help in Dallas

Especially with Cooper Rush in front of him, he show that he can also run that offense.

For a time it sure seemed the entire cowboy fan base wanted Cooper Rush to be a starter..... He had a mini Purdy effect on that fan base...

Who knows how this shakes out in a few years.

Might not be a ton of opportunity for this year minus injuries, but who knows next year.

From Kyle, Kyle wanted Trey to stay. But Trey requested the trade

Yeah, looks like Trey wanted nothing to do with the injury 🐜🪲 nest at 49er headquarters. And Yeah, I think he was a bit too hasty in his decision about leaving and requesting a trade. But also, I think he has a shot at QB1 or QB2 with Dak (age 30) and Cooper (age 29) in the Dallas QB squad. By the time Trey develops - two or three years will have passed, Dak will be 33-ish.
There's not a developmental league
-KS

he needs it, his floor is so low

How some of you reach conclusions is strange. He didn't ask for the trade because he didn't want to sit and develop, as QB2 he'd have been doing just that. He thought he was going to be QB2 and that didn't happen, additionally, there were likely other things happening behind the scenes that we may never know about.

Yup, his floor is so low, he needs an XFL or USFL tbh, he won't get it cuz he's on this contract for 2 more years of watching other guys play QB..
On the bright side Josh Johnson could get his job back on our practice squad now
