I'm sure grant would say the same. I'm sure he'd make sure to prioritize the offensive line to protect your soon to be star qb. Only a smart coach would do that.

Why would Trey want to go to Dallas....on the surface that looks like LESS opportunity then on the 49ers.
At least on the 49ers you have a one year wonder and a guy who has bounced around the league. They both might be studs who knows...... we have 7 good games on Purdy, and 6 or so ok games from Sam to close out last year.
Who knows what happens to Dak in the future, but right now odds are Trey is not going to learn a new system and unseat Dak and Cooper Rush this year...

I am wondering this too
As far as Kyle being overrated..I mean, naa. But I have been frustrated with some of his play calling here and there and clock management lol. He does seem a bit cocky but it's the NFL. Competition is fierce and Brock seems to flourish and feeds off of that really high bar. He also got healthy in the time he needed to. Unfortunately, for Lance, injuries really set him back and that sucks but it is what it is. Just the way the cards were dealt.

Kyle gaslighting trey for 3 years is enough to want to leave. Hopefully Kyle is next to be gone. Overrated head coach who thinks he's untouchable.
Overrated? Top 3 coach in the league is overrated now I guess.

I would say top 3 play caller but not overall head coach. Makes way too many mistakes with personnel that he didn't want. Mac would not have been better and we did not need to move up to get Mac, either way there's a mistake.

Overall the drafting has been pretty good here since Kyle and Lynch arrived. Sure there are some duds but that is the draft crap shoot. The reason we can move on from Trey without it being a major disaster is because they have drafted very well and landed on their feet picking Purdy.

Your second paragraph is on the money. But I would say Kyle has choked in the SB. His play calling has been ordinary in some big games.
Originally posted by Bangbang89:Originally posted by q0c0p:It's simple. Kyle and the team wanted him to stay but trey didnt want to be here anymore. So who let who down? Who betrayed who? From my view it seems the team did trey a solid. They didnt have to trade him, they wanted him. Trey didnt want to be here. Just let this thread die or lock it now. He isnt even on the team. He didnt want to be here and now hes on our arch enemy. We dont need to root for this dude

Some duds? Lol they've hit on 2 of the first rounders and Bosa was an easy gimme pick. They've gotten LUCKY with the late round gems thanks to scouting team. Other than that, they have yet to win and the clock is ticking before big changes are needed. You don't just waste 3 picks on a dude and then trade the dude for nothing. Lol what a total waste of 3 years.
