Wilson, Fields and Jones have had ample time to demonstrate that they are not good Quarterbacks. Lance has not been given that time yet, so there is still a huge level of unknown with him. That is why he went for much more.

If you recall, Jerry made the deal and presumably the HC wasn't even in on it. Jerry just jumped and overpaid. Heck we overpaid perhaps moreso than any pick in team history. Your analysis is flawed terribly. Shanny himself said, you don't really know on QB prospects, until you get them in the bldg. He was in the bldg for years. There were legit doing 1 route concepts in preseason of year 3. Some of the most remedial training wheels crap you will ever see at the NFL level in any capacity. Shanny dealt him to a rival, and he sleeps well on that decision trust me. There is zero unknown, he sucks. It's like saying there is unknown on Gio Carmazzi.

Saying 'much more' is also rich, we are comparing day 3 picks to day 3 picks.

Cowboys have dead money in Dak...$40 for next season IIRC NO TRADE NO TAG clause...

so basically , they are screwed for the next two years unless somehow Dak becomes a great qb.

Dak really gets so much hate cause of the star on his helmet. Of course he doesn't perform in the playoffs but I guarantee he will be more well thought of if he was in Jacksonville or something lol
