Trey coming out when he did was a great financial move for him but probably a terrible QB career move. He could of really used another year of reps and may have went to a team that wasn't in "win now" mode.

he would of been slightly more experienced and most likely in a situation where he could just play and the team not expected to compete for a chip.

he's lucky if he will ever get a chance to start a game at this point, IMO.
