Yea...Kyle has a different playbook for 2nd unit. Makes complete sense. Good job.

lol 😆

My point is, there are guys in the 2nd unit probably aren't familiar with the plays or verbiage even less than Lance, so he has to be on top of them more.

And he's still throwing to the 1st string receivers. The units get mixed up throughout camp anyway.

Lol
So in two days since pads came on you have Greenlaw saying he's got the strongest arm he's ever seen, DJ Jones saying everyone has their eyes on him…he's special, Demeco saying he stresses the defensive players out…he's special, and Mike McDaniel saying he is getting around to the point that he is correcting other players. In team drills he has thrown 2 incomplete passes.

Jimmy gotta be stressing lol

Bro you're way off on this. 2nd stringers play a lot of snaps in the NFL. Injuries happen - players come out for a play or two. You guys talkin' about 2nd stringers like they're about to be cut. And during the camp - 2nd stringers are trying to take over the job of the 1st stringers - they're the hunters and 1st teamers are hunted. Makes no difference when you're making throws in tight windows or 45-50 yard TD bombs.

You guys were dismissing Trey bc he played at NDSU. Now, he is doing it in the training camp and you guys are like - oh 2nd stringers. C'mon - give the dude his flowers and he is gonna take over the team way sooner than you think. He's soon gonna be doing the same thing to 1st teamers and on Sundays. Watch - I ain't going nowhere.

Jimmy can at least rest on the fact that he's given it his best.

True. When it comes to Lance, some posters are moving the goal posts like it's the baton in a relay race.

Have you not been paying attention? Even the 2nd team is short on players because so many 1s are out. The 2s are more 3s and 4s than 2s at this point. The only strong group we have depth-wise is Dline, and in these practices where there is no threat of being hit by them, their effectiveness is limited. And on top of that he has the 1s at WR and TE.

Not hating on Trey, what he has shown thus far is impressive no matter the talent he is facing. Just being realistic.

saw this on twitter haha

Kittle unintentionally disputed McDaniel's comments, but clearly disagreed that Trey is directing anyone. We should all pump the breaks on anointing Trey, and just enjoy his ascension as it happens without forcing Trey into a category he has not earned, yet. Reports have been amazing. He will be "it" soon. But Jimmy should be the starter, and if Trey unseats him, then amazing, however this is unlikely. Lets remember, no rookie QB has ever won a Super Bowl. This team is primed to win a SB now, and trusting a rookie QB with that task, even if he is more talented, is risky as hell.

No team had played a super bowl with home field advantage. Until last year. Just cause it hasn't happened doesn't mean it can't happen.
