All you are really looking for at this stage is flashes.

He showed that.

All the rest he can work on.

I was very pleased he was able to get the offensive play calls in with no false starts or penalties for players incorrectly lining up.

Yeah he showed a great grasp of the game. His struggles are what you expect with any rookie, including the likes of Lawrence and Fields.

He flashed some of his potential tonight whilst at the same time showing us that he's still a rookie too. Overall, I have no concerns. I'm confident he'll be great.

None of that matters if you can't complete the majority of your passes. He hasn't done that in two years (2games).

He did show more promise than I anticipated. The irony is he looked good when he was in rhythm but once he had to move his feet (within the pocket) he struggled
